The rainy season has opened in Japan, and it feels like summer is in full swing.
It's going to be a quiet season again this year, with no summer festivals, as it was last year with the Corona disaster.
I'm working hard on the game, hoping that next year we will be able to go out in peace.

I've finished working on the third stratum, and recently I've been concentrating on designing the monsters for the fourth stratum.
It's the section where you feel like you've passed the turning point and are heading towards the end of the game.
In the previous game, it was a Japanese-style world with Japanese-style monsters. I think the ninja house was the most troublesome dungeon in the previous game.
This time, I'm working hard to create a wonderful world that will be the focal point of the game as a fourth stratum with a different theme.
I've written about this before, but one of the things I try to do when designing monsters is
to make it easy for players to recognize what the monster is based on when they see it.
When I'm drawing, I'm tempted to draw in a lot of detail, but I try not to be too detailed.
I try to keep the overall shape, silhouette, and color combination simple.
Some monsters can be quite difficult to design, but I am very happy when they turn out cute.
In this letter, I would like to introduce two new monsters.

This is one of the new monsters, Windwalker.
This monster looks like a dancer who manipulates the wind to fly through the air.
The fluttering cloth that flutters in the wind is a distinctive feature.
This is another one of the new monsters, Sword Dancer.
This monster is also based on a dancer, and this one is a dual sword swordsman who dances a sword dance.
I tried to design both of them with a brown elf-like atmosphere.

This time, with sincere gratitude for you, supporters,
I drew a "Midsummer Fever"-themed special illustration for you.
This is Fire Spirit from the spirit monsters.
It's a hot monster, perfect for the height of summer.
Like the other spirits, his core is a jewel embedded in the chest.
Fire Spirit has flaming hair and burning arms,
a design that is symmetrical to Ice Spirit, whose legs are frozen.
And the clothes and decorations have an oriental feel, like Thunder Spirit.

I've just started work on the fourth stratum, but the theme is completely different from the previous stratum, so I'm working hard on it with a fresh mind.
First, I have to finish designing the monsters, then the event scenes, then the dungeons... and so on.
This is something that I have done many times since the first stratum, but when I look again at what I have made so far, I realize that I am steadily moving toward completion.
This time, I've been able to continue working on the project while writing a letter every month, which is very encouraging and enjoyable.

Hello! I just became a supporter and I have a question, will the new characters also have the option to remove their clothes entirely once you max their friendship? you know, like the ones from the first game.

Ooh, these new designs are amazing! I really like the darker skin tone with blonde hair. The arabian style dancer outfits work really well and have good detail to them without cluttering the design too much. The poses on these characters are also really good! I like how you make these feel so expressive. Keep it up! ^_^
