[EN]SHOWTIMExMONSTERS 2 Dev Letter [vol.10]
🕑 Added 2020-08-20 09:10:43 +0000 UTCHello, I'm Satoh.
Thank you very much for your continued support.
The rainy season has gone and we are in the middle of the hot summer here.
I'm working on the game everyday, paying attention to the heat.
――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
I've finished designing almost half of the 2nd stratum's new monsters .
It's interesting to design new monsters from new themes and motifs which the former game didn't have.
Though I have a rough image and theme for the new monster ideas,
I don't know how I make their shapes and colors actually until I draw them.
I'm trying not to consider too much, and draw what comes to my mind in the moment.
So, I'm also looking forward to see what monsters will be realized.
Speaking about the game part, I'm also working on some small parts
like UI adjustment to display new elements or new functionality etc.
As with the former game, I want to take care of UI to make your play comfortable.
In this letter, I'll introduce to you two new monsters who are good for hot summer.
――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
This is one of the new monsters, "Sea Slime".
He makes part of his slimy body into a floating ring, and floats on the sea.
He is a fashionable slime wearing a slimy hat.
This is "Tropica Ice".
He is a cold drink monster like the counterpart of Coffee Sugar in the former game.
I drew him with a colorful, flashy and joyful theme.
――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
This time, with sincere gratitude for you, supporters,
I drew a "Summer hot blood"-themed special illustration for you.
Demon Slime from the slime monsters.
He is full of energy even in the heat of summer.
Slimes can shape their slimy part freely,
so prankster and fearless Demon Slime might show you such a thing.
――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
That's all for this letter.
I'll post vol.11 on around 2020/9/20.
In addition to the heat of mid-summer, there is a virus epidemic this year.
Please take care of your health.
I will continue to work on the game to make steady progress, little by little.

Thank you! It's good that you like the new monsters :) Yea, I have to keep my health to complete the long way.
Keep up the good work! It seems you're making some steady progress and I do love the designs. However, I hope you aren't neglecting your own health in the process.

Thank you, Jack! I'm glad to hear you like the new slime:)
OMG, that demon slime XD I really like the tropical theme too, the sea slime is especially adorable. The slimes weren't my favorite in the first game, but this one will definitely change my view :)

Thank you! I'll be able to put many different motifs from the former one to the sequel. Please look forward to the beach dungeon too :)
Great to hear that progress has been made while you've also remained very well! I can't wait to see the different motifs for the dungeons as you progress with development; I personally can't wait to explore the "beach" themed one myself! As always, thank you for your work!
