retiring from 3d animation
🕑 Added 2024-05-02 16:06:23 +0000 UTCThis brief return to animation was a reminder on how much time it takes, and made me realise I don't have that kind of time anymore.Even when using up all my free time in April, I didn't reach my own goal of 2 monthy releases. Charging supporters for just 1 release a month would feel really bad.
I'm glad I tried though, now I know I can't do it anymore. Thank you everyone for the support over the years, I'm very grateful to you.
I'll use this page to experiment with ai a bit. You can contact me here or on twitter if you ever need to. If I make a new animation it'll be available for free on twitter

We have always enjoyed your animations and still do, but I can understand that feeling. Thank you for all the great posts over the years. I hope your future projects are rewarding, no matter what you do!

You were my major inspiration and one of the reasons I started animating. Take care brother.

Thank you very much. It's great to see how many new amazing animators appeared over the last couple of years.

I appreciate the honesty and it's a shame to see you retire. You were one one of the best back when everyone was still using SFM (not shaming other artists, everyone did amazing for the resources they had). After you came back from a hiatus I honestly wondered how well your work would hold up now that the talent across the board has seriously leveled up, but it was clear from the first couple of releases back that your style and quality were still top-notch (to this day I still rarely see from other artists the sensuality and softness you give your work). Good luck with the rest of endeavours, and I look forward to whatever you release in the future!

Thank you!

Definitely going to miss those Mercy animations. They were top shelf. I totally get the time required to produce quality is more than you have. Thanks for letting us know.

Thank you.

Shame to see you retire. Just found you this last month. Your poolside Mercy render is one of my favorites. And I fully understand running out of time. I've had to pause my page more times than I'd like to admit to keep my sanity and life in order.

Thank you.

I appreciate it very much, but personally I would be unhappy with an output that low, I'd rather just release a free animation from time to time

I appreciate it, I used to release one per month in the past, and it aways felt wrong, so I won't make that mistake again, and would rather make a free one ocassionaly

While I would be fine with one a month too, your own sense of well being needs to come first. Take care of yourself before trying to please others.

There are a bunch of animators who release maybe one animation every 3 months and people still support them for some reason. One a month is fine, especially when you're barely charging anything.

I mean I personally would be good with one a month, your stuff was freaking awesome.
