Poll #178 - One Stop Shop for all things D&D?
🕑 Added 2021-06-25 23:53:16 +0000 UTCHey all!
As the company continues to grow, we're always trying to think of new benefits to add to our repertoire. One thing that I've had fun doing lately is creating assets with Inkarnate and Dungeon Draft. I'll do this when I can't find an existing map that accomplishes what I'm trying to do.
Since I'm never one to make waste, I figured... why not offer these on Patreon?
- They don't take very long for me to make since I'm using Inkarnate, and since I am pretty slick with most graphic design software, I'm able to maximize the program to put out some pretty nifty stuff (if I say so myself).
- These would probably be offered as part of an existing tier.
Here are a couple of samples of town maps I've made in the last 24 hours (100% made by me in Inkarnate):

So, with all the exposition out of the way, the TLDR is:
Would you be interested in getting map packs from DMDave separate from the adventures?
This would be stuff like simple encounter maps, small dungeons, etc.

Where do you get that program from??

So long as I can keep getting gridless maps for roll 20 I’m happy

I think it’s great because they seem to have either built around it or in spite of it (maybe something happened to cause the canyon)

The maps necessary to conduct the adventure are all that are needed. Additional maps are NICE, but not "needed".

Yep!

I love the idea. Will you also provide a one-pager which summarizes some of the features in the town?
Emmaline Boutilier
Id love more town maps! love your work so it would be great to have more large areas to match the other maps.
DM Dave
I generally try to go with whatever the lore says. So a lawful evil spot like Muhar would be a bit more organized (although the canyon section is more of a mess) while a more chaotic place would be a maze
Definitely welcomed if they are not such neat and tidy buildings clustered in squares. They are nice for a first attempt, but unless the Guild of City Planners is all powerful, a more labyrinth-like layout is more appealing.
These maps are great, we're looking at getting a table with a TV built into it soon so stuff like this would be amazing!
I only ever use a dry erase mat, but I think I'm in the minority. The maps are cool!

Yeah I wouldn’t offer this if I didn’t feel confident the stuff would be cool haha

Dave is literally the only Patron I support because of the content he churns out on a daily, weekly, monthly basis! Not one bit of it is garbage either!
Honestly, as long as you don’t feel stretched thin, creatively/time management- then I’m all for it. But at the end of the day, I give my “gold” because the quality of your stuff is high due to knowing your strengths and sticking with it.
Maps to supplement/ elaborate on the adventure
