This is my first month as a patreon. I used Creed of Iron with some minor adaptations to fit an ongoing campaign. My players loved every part of it. Thank you so much for the hard work and inspiration. BTW, one of my players couldn't wait to touch the Ruby Blutvekzelnite. He is currently looking for a way to keep his skin moist. LOL

Hey, great question! Much of it, no, of course, there wouldn't be time to playtest every bit. However, a lot of what I create follows specific structures that are known to work or I've tested to death myself. I also religiously follow the guidelines set forth by WotC for CRs, etc. and know how to gauge things accordingly. For newer rules and mechanics, there's some testing going on for that. I've tested my own mass combat rules as well as rules using things that aren't normally used. Finally, there's the patreon! A lot of the folks here playtest the content, let me know what works and doesn't, and those things get fixed either before a) BroadSword goes out or b) the content ends up in a Compendium. For example, the adventure Dragard Mine I wrote last year is getting a big revamp based on playtest knowledge before it hits the Compendium. TL;DR no, but I know the game so well at this point, I have a pretty good sense of what will work and what doesn't. :)

Hey, I'm relatively new here. I have to ask, but do you playtest any of your content? It's just that given the sheer volume I would be really fascinated to know how you manage to achieve that.
