If you're skipping the training centre in FC 25, you're missing out on a crucial opportunity to improve your gameplay. Even at my level, I go through the training centre every year to refresh my skills. The basics, like passing and jockeying, are fundamentals that should be mastered, and the training centre is the best way to practice them.
One of the most valuable tools is the running jockey drill. Even if you've been playing for years, this section helps you perfect moving side-to-side and backward without over-committing. Many players skip these sections, thinking they already know them, but revisiting the basics can fine-tune your brain to perfect the timing of tackles and other crucial moves.
For example, the sliding tackle drill helps you understand when and how to execute the perfect tackle. It sharpens your instincts so that, in actual matches, you're able to make tackles with better precision. Skill games, such as corner kicks, penalties, and overload defending drills, can drastically improve your performance.
If you're serious about improving, go through these drills one by one. It’s not just for beginners—every player can benefit. Once you've set up your Ultimate Team or other settings, make sure to return to the training centre and practice. This will help you get a major edge in the game.
