Loving the reaction so far, but I just want to point out while I'm mid reaction that, while it was never stated in the movie, the intention of Finn as he is constantly calling out to Rey is to let her know that he's Force sensitive. So, he's basically trying to run towards Rey to help by showcasing Force powers but she either pushes him away or he tries too late

Loved this reaction! I thought there was a build up the Ray and Ben’s kiss too Holden. You are not the minority in my opinion. Other people just don’t get the way we think about movies. I say that kinda jokingly. Also one thing you made me think of as far as talking about how “she is me” referring to the relationship between Palpatine and Ray. I could even see maybe just the amount of power she had from grandfather to grand child type of thing explaining that. We all hear about the genes that skip a generation. Maybe this was one. With what Jen says about “it cheapens it” when she “killed” Kylo, I thought it was sort of symbolic to the story that she killed Kylo and then “saved” Ben. Cause that’s how much she believed in him, that he would turn good. Kinda like how Luke was willing to die from Palpatines lightning after throwing his saber off to the side, his only chance of defense. 100% agree, best film of the 7-9 trilogy. I am shocked by Jen’s her 7.5 rating! I really thought she would rate it in the higher 8’s. Wow!. Regardless I love the reaction! Also made some t-shirt ideas that I will send you. Love the content! what always bugged me about the ending was that Palpatine wanted Rey to kill him and she would "become" him or take his place. however she did kill him so why didnt what he say come true? was it due to a technicality that she didnt physically kill him by hitting him with her lightsaber? it just doesnt make sense to because she did kill him.

I feel like a lot of people commented before watching the reaction. Lol I’m glad you like the movie, Holden. And I’m glad you look positively on the sequels while acknowledging their flaws. I’m on the same boat.

To me, this whole 'film' has no real plot, it is just a pissing contest between the directors. Almost everything that happens in the film has happened because the characters wanted it to happen, it happened simply by chance.

I just think they did us dirty. Kathleen Kennedy needs to just let Filoni take the reins. He did more for Luke in 3 minutes than these three films undid.
