Beautiful Go-Ghost???
I’ve never been one to believe in the gods, never even so much as prayed to one, and I never imagined I would ever do so; however, that all changed one frightful night. It was late, very near midnight, which was a terrible time to be walking home.
I had no choice, though, as I had just finished my nightly duties at the town guard’s outpost and needed to go home and rest. Unfortunately for me, while I work with many knights and guards, I am not one, and because of that, I don’t carry around a sword.
So when I found myself surrounded by thugs that the knights and guards had been trying to catch, I knew I was in trouble. No one who had encountered them to date had survived because they killed their targets and then robbed them.
The person who seemed to be the leader ran at me first, long bloodstained knife in hand. There was no way I could take him, or the four other guys with him; my only chance to survive was to dodge and then run as fast as I could.
So I drop nearly all the way to the ground, and the leader of the thugs ends up flying over me. After that I got back to my feet and started running with all my might. I heard the leader yell at his goons to get me and end me, and I knew I couldn’t stop.
With how late it was and how no one felt safe because of all the murders and muggings, there was nowhere open for me to run into for safety, and there was no way anyone would open their doors for a man in a panic.
After a few minutes of running, I was starting to get tired, and I knew soon I’d drop to the ground and be caught. I truly thought I was done for; however, a woman called out to me as I was running. She told me to come inside and try to hide.
I looked over and saw she was standing at the entrance to a shrine. I had mixed feelings about hiding in a place dedicated to a god, but I had little choice. I ran inside with the woman and we slammed the door, barring it with a large piece of wood.
I then took a deep breath and turned to thank the woman who helped me, but she was nowhere to be found. All that was in the room with me was a horrifying statue of a woman, which was covered in cobwebs and dust.
I was always told this was the shrine of the goddess of sexual love and beauty, Aphrodite, but there was no way that was true. The woman depicted in the statue looked terrifying, and just looking at it sent shivers down my spine.
I shake my head and try to regain my nerves as I look around the shrine for the woman. I couldn’t find her, so I assumed she had another way out and left so she wouldn’t be in danger from the people chasing me.
As I sat around waiting and hoping the thugs would give up looking for me, as I did, a storm came in, and following it came lots of thunder and lightning. The whole shrine shook with each strike of lightning and each roar of thunder, and so did my nerves once again.
I was completely freaked out being in here now, so I unbarred the door and ran outside, which turned out to be a mistake. The thugs were terrified of this place and wouldn’t come in, so they were waiting for me, and as soon as I stepped outside, I was stabbed in the stomach.
I fell to the ground, my blood spilling out in great amounts. As my body hit the ground the thugs laughed and kicked me before taking anything of value I had on me. After that they ran off, leaving me to die.
I lay on the ground holding my stomach, feeling as the rain hit me and as the ground shook from the storm. I knew I was going to die, but I didn’t want to; I desperately didn’t want to. I closed my eyes and begged for help; that’s when I heard a horrifying female voice.
I looked up to see a transparent woman who looked like she had been decaying. As soon as our eyes locked, she went back inside. Desperate not to die, and hoping, whoever she is, that she could help me, I crawled inside.
I clawed all the way to the statue before my body ran out of strength. I then called out to the ghosty woman and asked her for help. When I did, I heard some wicked laughter; following that, the ghost reappeared.
She told me she couldn’t help my mortal body, that I was doomed to die here, but what she could do is instill me with her power and give me the tools I needed to get my revenge. Just looking at her left me feeling uneasy, but I could feel my life fading, so I agreed.
She laughed maniacally and told me she was glad to hear it. She then stuck her hand out at me and pulled my soul from my vessel. As she did, she filled my soul with her magic… or perhaps her essence, I’m not really sure, but what I do know is it transformed me.
When she was done with me, I was left with a ghostly figure similar to hers, and by that I mean I looked like a woman, a very curvy and busty one. I thought about asking why she turned me into a woman, but honestly I didn’t care. I could feel the power she instilled in me, and it was nice.
She let out her wicked laugh again and told me to go off and have my revenge, which I was more than happy to do. I flew out of the shrine and flew above the town looking for the leader of the bandit group.
I found him trying to break into someone’s house. I felt a twisted grin appear on my face as I flew towards him. I touch his back, which sends a chill throughout his body and makes him quickly turn around.
He then sees me and starts freaking out. He takes his knife and starts trying to stab me with it, but I just laugh at him. I told him that worked on me before, but he’s already killed me, so it wouldn’t work again.
He looked confused, likely because I looked nothing like the man he killed, but that didn’t matter. I was here for revenge, and I didn’t care if he knew who served it to him. I reach my hand out and using my new ghostly powers, I pull the knife from his hand.
Once it was in my possession, I made it fly around the thug, cutting him on each pass. I did that quite a few times but made sure they were only tiny minor cuts, nothing that would kill him. Once I was satisfied with that, I sent his knife flying away.
I then touched his head and began filling his mind with hallucinations. He was now seeing tons of scary monsters, not just me. That not only made him piss himself, but he also took off running in fear. I followed behind him, watching as he screamed and ran into things.
Eventually something he was seeing caused him to suddenly turn, which was when he tripped and fell on the ground. He then covered his face and thrashed around screaming. It almost looked like he was being mauled by a bear.
I watched the helpless and pathetic man for several minutes, but eventually he couldn’t take it anymore, and he passed out, which ruined my fun. I didn’t feel like waiting for him to wake up for me to continue messing with him, so I decided to put an end to it all.
Using my power again, I made the ground open up under him. His body fell into the hole, and at the bottom of it was a dominic hellscape. Once the hole closed up, I heard that woman's voice again. She thanked me for the sacrifice and told me she’d be waiting for the rest.
My twisted grin comes back as I remember there were several others that needed to face my wrath next. I told the woman… no, my demonic queen, that she shall soon have them. I then fly off into the night again to my victim.

It was fun. I got to go back and read the original story I created, well, the updated one I did a while back and make this off of it. It's sort of fun to see this spooky/dark alternate ending of the story. I think I may do more, perhaps just for fun randomly, and release them publicly next year during October.

A wonderful story that perfectly matches not only the ghostly theme but also the spirit of Halloween itself – creepy, vengeful ghosts, several deaths, copious amounts of blood, and even a hellish abyss! I'm thrilled! Of course, at any other time, this story wouldn't have been very good, but of course, now it's simply magnificent! And while there's not even a ghostly hint (pun intended) of anything spicy, it's not really needed!
