This episode is really heartbreaking and I can only assume it hits even harder for you two ! I feel like Demon Slayer really shines in its depiction of sibling relationships. You have Tanjiro and Nezuko, Rui and his fake spider family, Shinobu, Kanae and Kanao, Genya and Sanemi, Daki and Gyutaro and now Muichiro and Yuichiro. What I love is that the show represents the whole spectrum of what it is to be a sibling, from a traumatized adopted sister with Kanao to a fake bond with Rui to twins who are so different but still loves each other. You have unconditional love with Tanjiro and Nezuko who are always here for each other and on the other hand you have unspoken love with Genya and Sanemi who don't talk to each other but you can feel the love is still there. It really shows that being a sibling is not always rainbows and butterflies but at the end of the day, this is still your sibling(s). The crazy thing is that one of my favorites has still yet to come. God I love Demon Slayer for its characters and their relationships !
