OmegaRathalos was unlocking the door to his apartment when the fire alarm went off. He looked around and there was no smoke coming from the apartments on his floor, but there was some deep black smoke fogging up the hallway windows.
He slammed his door and went to run down the hallway to get to safety when he remembered his next-door neighbor was a single mother with a three-year-old girl. She also works nights and usually spends the day sleeping.
She also had a bad habit of not waking up to loud onesies, so OmegaRathalos knew he had to check and see if they were in there. He ran over and started to bang on the door, but got no answers.
Smoke was starting to fill the hallway meaning the fire was spreading quickly. He placed his ear on the door and could hear the child playing. With no other choice, OmegaRathalos began to kick the door down.
It took a few tries but once he did the child started to scream which actually woke her mother up. She came out yelling, but then stopped and looked terrified seeing the smoke. OmegaRathalos told her they needed to get out of here.
The three then made their way to the stairwell and descended. Part of the stairwell was engulfed in fire, so they had to cut through the third floor to the other side of the building to get to the other stairs, which was hard since it was also on fire.
Halfway through the hallway, OmegaRathalos heard a cracking noise and looked up. A beam from the framework was about to fall, and if it did it would land on the mother and child. OmegaRathalos jumped forward and pushed them out of the way.
The beam landed on his back and crushed most of his body under it. The mother tried to lift the beam but it was too heavy. OmegaRathalos told the woman to grab her child and go, and despite the child protesting and screaming not to leave them, the mother took her and left.
Then OmegaRathalos was lost to the flames. Everything was dark for a while and it wasn’t what OmegaRathalos had pictured death was like. For some reason it felt like he was still alive, just unable to see.
Perhaps OmegaRathalos hadn’t died and was merely unconscious, like in a comma or something and soon enough would wake up in a hospital. Well, OmegaRathalos did wake up, but when she did she was far from in a hospital.
She was in a large bedroom, on a massive bed, a canopy bed at that. Everything around her looked so elegant and fancier than anything she’d ever seen, and even stranger there was a set of female armor and a large sword sitting by the bed she was on.
OmegaRathalos sat up and felt something rather large pulling down on her chest. She looked down to inspect, but the second her head went to look down, two maids came bursting through the door and apologizing for being late.
OmegaRathalos tells them it’s alright and tries to ask what’s going on, and they tell her they are there to help her get dressed like they always do. Then one heads to a closet and the other pulls OmegaRathalos over to a chair in front of a mirror.
The maid pulled OmegaRathalos's hair back, grabbed a hairbrush, and started to brush the knots out of her hair. OmegaRathalos was still watching the other maid pull what looked like a long dress from the closet and was confused.
She then asked the maid what happened at the building fire, but the maid had no idea what she was talking about and asked her to face forward. So OmegaRathalos turned her head toward the mirror where she was met with an unfamiliar face.
There was a woman in the mirror with the maid. This woman was tall and mature-looking. She had long messy blonde hair, and a very curvy body which included a large set of breasts and thick thighs. She was indeed a beautiful woman, but where is she?
Then OmegaRathalos realized the woman in the mirror was having her hair brushed by the maid, the same one brushing her hair. OmegaRathalos eyes opened wide and she jumped on and placed and slammed her hands down on the vanity.
She loudly asked how the hell she was in the body of a woman. The maids looked at her awkwardly and said she’s always been in the body of a woman, as she was born in it. The maid then pulled her back down to the chair and asked her to stay still.
She then mentioned that they were already behind schedule which wasn’t good for a princess. OmegaRathalos jaw dropped and she asked the maid to tell her about that. The maid was happy to, as long as she sat still and let her finish.
So as the maid finished OmegaRathalos hair and makeup she told her all about her life. In this world, she was known as Princess Rathalos, and she was the second-born child of Queen Martileglace.
Her older brother Prince Rithilas was heir to the kingdom, and Princess Rathalos was the general of his grand army and was in charge of leading them in battles and even training them, so she spent most of her time in the training facilities and on the battlefield.
Despite that, she’s still a princess and has duties that come with it. So every once in a while, she has to come back to the castle and act like a proper princess as she updates the queen and prince on the status of battles.
Which is where she was heading. The queen and prince were waiting in the war room for her to come give the update and provide advice on how to advance. Princess Rathalos let out an awkward smile, it was a lot to take in.
Suddenly in what seemed like another world, as a very hot woman, who was not only a princess, but the leader of a massive army that was at war. It honestly didn’t seem real, and maybe the theme to an anime she had watched before.
The maid finished getting her hair done and put most of it into a ponytail so it wouldn't get in the way. Then she placed a very pretty and expensive-looking tiara on her head and secured it in place so it wouldn’t come off.
Then the other maid pulled her up. She removed Princess Rathalos' underwear and nightgown leaving Princess Rathalos her body in the nude for the first time. It was incredibly embarrassing to be naked in front of two strangers, but in this body, it was even worse.
To them, though it was nothing they hadn’t seen before, so they weren't even phased. Instead, they just went to work getting her dressed. They started with putting that long white dress on her, which ran from her breasts all the easy down to her knees.
Then they slipped a pair of panties followed by some legging underneath. After that came a dark blue coat. On the top, it had a collar that wrapped around her neck and a part that popped up. It ran down the sides of her chest and all the way down her arms.
Then it buttoned together under her breasts and continued down her stomach. After that, it split apart again and draped down to her ankles. The whole thing had random holes in it, and Princess Rathalos had no idea what they were for, not until the maids walked over to the armor.
Piece by piece they walked over and attached it to her, slipping straps through the holes in the coat. So it seemed the coat was to protect her skin from the armor and to help hold it all together. It took a few minutes, but Princess Rathalos was now fully dressed and pretty well armored.
Princess Rathalos moved around to test it, and she thought it was going to be quite heavy, as the maids had a hard time picking up the pieces, but to be fair they were a lot smaller than her. When she looked over at them, they were trying to move her sword, but it was clearly too heavy.
Ao Princess Rathalos walked over and picked it up, and they thanked her and helped her attach the sword and sheath to her armor. After that, she was fully ready for duty. Which was where she was heading.
The maids led her to the war room where her new mother and brother were waiting for her, along with the largest buffet of food she’d ever seen. She couldn't help herself from digging in which didn’t seem to surprise anyone.
After a few minutes of this though, she was interrupted by her brother who wanted to know the current state of the war. She looked up at him and had no idea what to say, but suddenly all the information she needed popped into her head.
Then for the next couple of hours, she strategized and planned the next battle. After which the queen excused herself and the prince thanked her and asked how long it was until she was heading out and heading back into battle.
Princess Rathalos shrugged saying as soon as possible as she wanted to test out how strong her body was, and she really wanted to use her cool-looking sword. The prince laughed and patted her on the back.
He said he had no worries about this war with her leading it, but he still wanted her to be careful, he wanted his sister to come back and their kingdom counted on her to be their shining beacon warrior princess. Princess Rathalos nodded and said she wouldn’t disappoint.
So she went off to battle, and in the years to come became well known as a hero of her people. She never would figure out how she got into this world, but she would often think she was given a second chance because of her noble sacrifice. It may have been a bit awkward at first, but it turned out to be the best thing ever, for her, her people and the prince she would one day marry.

I have so many different thoughts spinning in my head right now... But if I start to present them all, my comment will become too huge and difficult to read... So I will limit myself to only the most important thing - the story is quite good... Perhaps a little specific but overall I liked it so: thank you Riley, I’ll wait for the continuation
