Henry was exploring some acting ruins he discovered after a recent earthquake had opened a hole on his property leading right to it. He’d spent the last several weeks exploring, studying, and mapping the layout of the ruins.
As far as he could tell, this place used to be some sort of palace for a god, or perhaps some sort of place to worship. Either way, each room had a similar statue of a buff man wearing strange robes with his torso exposed.
He really didn't know anything about this god as he didn't seem to be any that made it to the current era, and Henry still hadn't decided their glyphs yet, so he had no idea what anything inside the ruins said. To be fair he isn't trained in this kind of work and is figuring it out as he goes.
What he did manage to figure out was that the center seemed to be some sort of special room. It could be the main room for praying, a vault filled with treasure, or even the tomb of this man that seems to be depicted everywhere.
Henry was determined to find it, but due to the condition of the ruins, much of the place was destroyed and the entrance to this special room was blocked. Luckily there seemed to be a secret way in, Henry just had to squeeze through some debris to get in.
When he finally got through he was surprised that the inner sanctum looked brand new. Not a single crack or broken wall, hell there wasn’t even dust. The place was in pristine condition almost like someone had been here taking care of it.

Henry had no idea what it was he wanted, which seemed to upset him. So the man pointed at his knee and then to the ground. It seemed he wanted him to kneel before him. Henry really didn’t care for this guy, but if it meant keeping him happy so he could take the gold, he was willing to do it.
He knelt before the man, and the man reached his hand out. Henry felt himself freeze in place and unable to move. Then he heard the man speak, but this time he was able to understand what he was saying.
The man told Henry he was foolish for stepping foot in his inner sanctum, especially to try and steal his gold. Then he explained he wasn’t really all that mad about that, but he was mad that a man dared step into his most sacred area.
He explained that even after he was sealed here by the other gods and lost his rule on the land no man had entered in here without punishment. He then pointed to the pile of gold behind him. He smiled when he said each one of them used to be a male who entered his sanctum.
Henry’s heart was racing. This man was actually a god, and by the way, he was keeping Henry from moving it was likely he wasn’t bluffing about the the pile of gold. Henry begged him not to punish him, saying he truly didn’t know what this place was.
The god seemed curious, he had been sealed for a long time. So he let Henry expand his story and tell him the state of the outside world. The god closed his eyes and thought for a moment. He did agree that it wasn’t his fault the outside world no longer remembered him.
He looked at the markings on the walls. He mentioned them being the reason he couldn't leave this place, and they were impossible to get rid of without another god. He then looked at Henry and said he wasn’t going to turn Henry into a piece of gold.
Henry felt relieved until he figured out the catch. The god said he still couldn't let a man being in here go unpunished, and he had a simple way of correcting that, one that actually pleased him more than having another piece of gold.
He reached his hand out and a ray of light engulfed Henry. The light made Henry’s body feel strange, but at the same time, it was almost like it was convincing him it was okay and that this felt really good.

Not really, she wouldn't have been able to help him anyway. She'd have to find another god, who would likely not help her unseal him even if somehow she could find one. The other gods did seal him there for a reason. At least this way he gets something out of it.

Well, she was created with his power therefore I'd say she is basically an extension of him, and because of that she is bound to the room like him. Or I have an alternative that could also be fun. She is merely a goddess to him, not in physical power. (His power keeps her young and immortal, but that's it.) So she can't remove the seals on the god. I think I mentioned it in the story, but when her butt got bigger it made it impossible for her to slip out of the room through the tiny hole she came in originally, which means she couldn't go get help. So essentially trapped by her bigger butt.

A specific story... I have no idea why, but it seems strange to me - not correct... Alas, I don’t know why I got this impression, so I apologize for that... Okay, this is all clear, but here’s a question. .. If you need 2 gods to just get free, then why didn’t they get free? There are now two of them! Or did I understand something wrong?... Well, perhaps that’s all... But for the rest... The story as a whole is not bad, so I liked it!
