What do you wish for: Lochmore
🕑 Added 2024-01-23 03:18:01 +0000 UTCHolding the ticket in their hands, Lochmore closes their eyes, and begins to think about appearing before the genie. The number 110 appears on the ticket, and Lochmore is instantly teleported in front of a genie.
“Hello and welcome! Today and today only I’m your genie, and you know what a genie does? That’s right, they grant wishes, and that’s what I’m going to do for you! So what wish does your heart desire?”
With that, the genie waits for you to speak your wish. “I wish I was hiking through the German Alps/forests on vacation to relax and get a new perspective on life.” “Hmm, seems simple and quite fun, a nice vacation and a new perspective on life huh?”
The genie smiles and runs off in search of an orb. Lochmore waits patiently for her to return. The genie could be seen in the distance tossing orbs all over the ground until she found one that seemed to be the exact one she was looking for.
Holding it tightly she flew back to Lochmore as fast as she could. “I think you’ll enjoy this one, it had your forest hiking trip, along with a very fun new perspective on life.” The genie placed the orb into Lochmore’s hands.
“Now that will take effect when I send you back, but what it basically does is transfer your mind and soul into another body. Let’s see who it is.” The genie leans toward the orb and looks at it for a few minutes.
“It is thirty-seven-year-old Jayla Bryon. A female botanist who loves studying plants so much that even on her vacation she studies them, which is why she’s here in the German Alps.” Lochmore looked a bit nervous.
“Ah it’s okay, she’s super cute and smart, and when you take over as her you’ll be both those things as well. Plus once your vacation is over you’ll have a really nice high-paying job to return to along with a husband and kids.”
Lochmore was almost sweating a bit now. That was surely going to be a new perspective. Becoming a mother and wife in an instant and getting a very important job was a bit much to process. “I’m telling you it’ll be fine, you’ll love it, but worry about that later, enjoy your vacation.”
The genie lifted her hand. “Oh and you should know, Jayla gets to go on vacations like this a lot since she does it for work, so you’ll get to go here again, and probably other places, isn't that pretty neat?”
The genie smiles and snaps her finger and Loch finds herself inside her new body. She was holding a long wooden walking stick. She also had on brown shorts, a white button-up shirt, and sneakers. On her back, she had a large back of supplies.
Finally on her head was a large floppy sunhat. She looked around and it was clear she was deep within the forest already, which might be a problem if she couldn't find her way back, hopefully, the path she was on would lead her back to safety, later of course.
For now, she was going to enjoy being in this amazing place. She continued down the path she was walking and admired everything she saw around her. There were all kinds of animals moving around her, from birds to snakes.
As she continued walking she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. The flower of victory, a dark blue flower by the name of Gentiana Bavarica. Loch ran over to it and started to inspect it. She was so excited to see it.
Since Jayla had been a botanist, and had a vast amount of knowledge on the subject, Loch now had all of it, including the excitement of finding them. She pulled out her phone and took nearly thirty photos.
Then after putting away her phone she immediately grabbed a book from her bag. Inside was a slit of plants she wanted to find along with a number next to them to reference a page with more information on them.
She flipped to it and saw she had some information already written down. They have deep blue star-shaped flowers that bloom in the late summer. Then below that was a second she had to write her own personal notes that she would observe. So she knew what she was going to be doing this trip, after observing this flower, she’d begin her search for another, hopefully, she could find them all.
