Egron was in his lab researching different types of teleportation spells, and trying to rework them so that he could access other words. His goal was to use it and find worlds where magic was an undiscovered source and siphon it off into his world to compensate for his world's overuse of it.
The magic in his world was likely going to be fully consumed by the end of the year. Mana is created by the planet and it can be used by all living creatures quite easily. From children to Kings, everyone has the ability to take mana and turn them into mundane or powerful spells.
This created a shortage, as the world is only able to replace so much mana a day. So as the grand mage and the oldest most powerful mage, it was up to Egron to find a solution, or else the world could go to war, and he’d lose something he held so dearly.
So he had worked for months, researching, crafting, and trying out a new version of the teleporting spell to see if her could get it to lead him to a new world. He had no luck, he had no idea why. Maybe he had the wrong chant, or maybe with everyone taking the remaining mana, he didn't have enough.
Egron slammed his desk annoyed. He only had one choice, he had to use the fallen star fragment. The star held a massive amount of store mana likely older than the planet he stood on. Although everyone who's ever used it has turned into a vicious monster.
Luckily Egron had been working on a solution to that, but he wasn't sure if it worked yet, but he sure as hell was about to find out. Egron pulled out the staff of Flodenz, a magical staff made from magically condensed Mythril, and had been enchantment close to a million different times.
Egron had been working on it since he joined the mages' guild thousands of years ago but stopped when the guild discovered mana was running dry. His goal was for it to hold the star fragment, and it was about to serve its purpose.
He loved the staff around the star to avoid touching it, and he felt as if the staff and star started to mind each other. The star started to send shockwaves of magic out, trying to resist binding to the staff, but Egron used all his might to hold firm until it ended.
Once it ended Egron felt the staff providing him with additional power, but not all at once, and seeing as he wasn't a monster, it was safe to say the staff worked. He pulled out the scroll that had the incantation that he believed would open a portal to another world.
He held the staff with both hands in front of him and repeated incantation. Slowly magic gathered around in front of him and started to expand. At first, the center of it was fogged up, but once it was full-sized Egron could see a city on the other side.
The buildings were nothing like he'd ever seen. They were massive, glowing, and made of what seemed like steel and glass, and even stranger there was no hint that magic was used in their creation.
That was a good sign, that means Egron could steal their magic reserves without any issue. Now all he had to do was create a funning effect so that magic would continuously be sucked into his world. Using the magic staff, he started to pull the magic in.
As soon as the mana hit the portal Egron sensed something was wrong. The man from that world was different. He tried to stop the staff, but the second a little bit hit the portal it reversed, pulling Egron and things in his lab through.
Egron was thrown across the sky landing on one of the tall buildings. He quickly got up and looked up toward the portal. He watched as his things were being shot across the city. The portal had become unstable now that he wasn’t maintaining it, and it was starting to close.
Egron knew he had to act fast to get back home, so he started to cast a spell that would allow him to levitate up to the portal. He drew mana in and cast his spell, but it didn't make him float. He cast it again and yet nothing happened.
It seems that magic worked differently here, so his spells might not do the same things here that they do in his world. He then gulped, he deftly cast a spell, but now he had no idea what it was for, but he had a feeling he was about to find out.
He felt his chest becoming heavier so he removed his robes to inspect. To his horror, his chest had gotten heavier because a pair of breasts were growing, and they didn’t seem to stop, even when they were D-cups, then DD.
They continued to grow until each one was bigger than her head and heavy enough to nearly pull her over. Luckily she had the staff or she wouldn't be able to hold herself. It was safe to say he had cast a spell to create and grow breasts.
Since he cast it twice, it was no wonder why his chest had become so big. He looked up and the portal was still there but it was about half the size. He knew it was a big risk, but he had to keep trying the spells he knew to see if something would work so he didn't end up trapped here.
He cast a spell that was supposed to make a temporary set of bird wings that the caster could use to fly, but that wasn’t what happened when he cast it. Instead, his hair started to grow longer, it had also turned orange and started to curl at the ends.
He really didn’t have time to worry about it, he just had to try something else. Next up was a simple teleportation spell. He was hoping to use it to get above the portal and drop down into it, which if it didn't work wouldn't end very well.
It didn’t matter, the spell didn’t work as he wanted, instead, it was another body transformation spell that caused his waist to suck in. Egron wasn’t a fool, he knew there was no point in continuing the spells he knew, so he decided to try casting something random.
He chanted a bunch of random words until he felt one succeed. He had no idea what it would do, but it wasn’t at all surprising when he looked down and saw his thighs growing, along with his hips and ass.
Were all the spells in this world one that made the caster look more and more feminine? Truly there was nothing but his crotch left for the magic to change. He looked back up at the portal, it likely only had a minute or two left until it vanished.
Egron pulled the staff in front of him, it was again his last option. It was still connected to the portal, so maybe if he could attune the staff with this world's magic, he could stabilize the portal, giving him more time.
He held it firm and once again drew magic to it. With the abundance of magic in this world, it quickly drew more mana than Egron had ever felt. Some of it was passing through him before getting to the staff, and he could feel it attuning to him and changing him.
Egron knew exactly what it was changing. He could feel his dick becoming smaller and smaller. Getting trapped here would mean being stuck with the changes, but if Egron could get home, she could return to her normal male self.
She continued to draw mana in, and the star turned yellow, then stopped drawing mana in. Egron was overjoyed, it had attuned. It now holds mana from this world. Egron looked up to the portal and her joy faded.
The portal had vanished. It seemed the star had cut off its connection with her original world when she attuned it to this one. Angered, she started to slam the staff against the roof she was standing on.
The first slam, sent magic out of the staff, causing her breasts to expand more, growing two more sizes and making her nipples grow larger and pointier, now making them chaff against the inside of her robes.
The second slam caused a similar effect on her lower area. Her butt and thighs started to grow. Her thighs had grown so thick that they now crushed against each other. His butt became round and had extended outwards by a couple of inches, giving her a thick bubble butt.
The final slam didn't change her physically, instead, it removed the ability to cast magic from her body. She realized right away that she could no longer sense mana, and she knew what that meant. Furious she tossed the staff onto the ground.
As it hit the ground it shattered into ten pieces and vanished, leaving only one greyed star fragment shard. Her jaw dropped as she realized what she had done. She stranded herself in this strange world, in a very thick new body, and without any magical powers.
She wanted to freak out, but she knew there was still one path left for her to take to try and get back home. It would be a long road, but she could find someone to teach them about magic and use them to experiment until she finds a new way to travel between worlds.
Of course, a world that has no idea magic exists might think she’s crazy. She’d need a way to convince people to do as she wanted. She looked down at her body... She wondered if the men in this world were as crazy horny as the men from hers.
It wasn’t really something she wanted to do, but if it meant getting back to her world and even saving it, she used this new body to manipulate anyone she could. Before she could do all that though, she had to get off this roof.

Thank you! :D I really like the way you made the mana theme. With the idea of stealing mana, but from a place that doesn't use it yet, I can't really decide if they were doing something bad or not. Either way magic is dangerous, and hubris was her downfall. It was also pretty cool that it was very earth-like. I liked the subtle wonder and appreciation for the megalithic metal and glass buildings made without magic. Great story.

Well, what can we say?... When handling unstable magic, you need to be as careful as possible... Although the cruel truth here is that there could be no other way for this story... The magician was not able to foresee that the portal would suck him in, he couldn’t have known that magic in the new world would work differently... Perhaps he could have tried to restrain his emotions, but at that moment, alas, it was no longer important... In general, I liked the story... Will there be a continuation? ? For example, about how she accidentally became a “mom” while she was persuading another guy to start learning magic?
