The 4th day of Christmas
🕑 Added 2023-11-16 02:37:59 +0000 UTCIt was the morning of the fourth day, Ryder was lying in bed when a cold breeze hit her. Being naked the cold was too much, and forced her awake. “Ah… It’s a bit early, if I open the next present now, I’ll be stuck like that for so long.”
She looked over at Morgyn sleeping in her warm Santa suit. “Ahh, yeah. Whatever it is It’ll be better than being cold… I hope.” Ryder shook Morgyn awake. “Hey, wake up. It’s time for the next present.” Morgyn wakes up and looks outside.
“What time is it? Are you sure you want to do it earlier each morning?” Morgyn says while smiling. Morgyn heads to the bathroom and Ryder makes her way to the Christmas tree. “I wonder which one is next.”
Ryder looks at the remaining twenty-two presents. “It’s too bad they’re all the same, and only have a piece of paper in them, if there was some sort of object I could shake them and maybe find out what’s in them.”
“I figured you’d try that, which is why I did it this way. No ruining the surprise.” Ryder rubbed her head. “I guess you know me well. Now which one is next?” Morgyn picks up a gift. “Well, only the one on the way back has to come last, so we can do these in any order. Why don’t you pick.”
“Really, in that case, how about this one.” Ryder picks up a present and tears it apart. “Alright, the note says.. Kitten play?” “Oooh, so today you’ll get to be my itty bitty kitty! This is going to be so much fun.”
“You seem excited for this one.” Morgyn smiles. “Yeah I am, I may have added a few that would be fun for me. I hope you don’t mind.” Ryder smiles back. “No of course not meow.” “Oh, it’s starting already!”
Cat ears started to form on Ryder’s head, pushing their way through her hair and growing on the sides of her head. “Wow, these feel so strange meow.” “They look so cute though.” Ryder blushed as her transformation continued.
A tail began to poke out next, growing nearly two feet long. “Whoa, it’s almost like having an extra arm, or leg, but you know without being as functional meow.” “Sounds a bit strange, but it looks kind of fun.”
After that Ryder’s hands grew claws, which became retractable on command, and her teeth started to get sharper. Then suddenly Ryder fell onto her hands and knees. “Meow?” She was now unable to get up.
“Were you not expecting this? You're a kitten now, they don’t walk on two legs.” “Meow” “Oh, are you talking about how you can’t talk anymore? Yeah, that’s part of it too.” finally to finish her transformation, a collar formed on her neck, one with a large golden bell.
Ryder started swatting at it, causing it to ring like crazy. While she did, Morgyn had left the room and got her extra Santa suit from her room. “Alright fluffy, time to get you dressed, then we can start having some fun.”
“Meow?” “What? Do you want to stay naked? I guess cats don’t have to worry about clothes.” “Meow! Meow!” Ryder crawled over and swatted at the clothes. “Oh so you want them after all, well it’ll cost you. How about I get to pet your head.”
Ryder blushed but started rubbing her head against Morgyn’s leg. “Very good.” Morgyn begins rubbing Ryder’s ears. “Oh my, they’re so soft.” “Purr.” “Oh, someone’s enjoying it huh?” “Purr…. Hisss.” Ryder stops letting Morgyn pet her and sits staring up at her. “Meow.”
“Fine, here you go.” Morgyn gets Ryder into some clothes and Ryder’s happy to finally be warming up, especially after yesterday. Even though the magic kept her from getting sick or even frostbite, she still felt cold, but now that was in the past.
Now fully dressed Ryder looked up at Morgyn waiting for what was next. “Meow?” “Huh, oh you probably want to know what's next. How about you spend the morning having fun as a kitten, then in the afternoon we’ll do some stuff together.”
“Meow?” Morgyn sighed. “I have no idea what you want, which I guess means you’re doing a good job being a cat. Here let’s try this.” Morgyn reaches down and grabs the puff off of Ryder's hat. “Here play with this.”
She tossed it on the floor in front of Ryder. Ryder just stared at it for a minute. “Meow?” Ryder lifted her hand and swatted it, causing it to fly across the floor. Once it moved Ryder felt herself wanting to get it again, so she chased after it.
Ryder continued to chase around the puffball for nearly two hours, after which she grew tired of it and crawled away. She started looking for Morgyn but she was nowhere to be found. “Meow? Meow?”
Ryder made her way to the kitchen and that's when she found two bowls on the floor. She crawled over to them, one had water in it and the other had cat food in it. RYder’s stomach started to growl, she hadn’t eaten breakfast yet.
As embarrassing as it was, she began to eat from the bowl. The food tasted so good, even though she knew that it normally tasted awful. She ate the entire bowl, and when she looked up Morgyn was watching her. “MEOW! HISS”
Ryder Jumped back, hair sticking up and tail stiff, all due to being startled. “Geeze, calm down. It’s only me.” “Meow.” Ryder calmed down and ran over to Morgyn and started rubbing against her leg again.
“Oh, you moved on quickly. I guess you’re ready for the next part huh? Here try this out.” Morgyn pulled out what looked like a hand-sewn ball and dropped it in front of Ryder. “Meow?” “Trust me, this is different than before, just get your nose in close.”
Ryder did that, and she immediately smelled something amazing. “Meow?” She began to bite on the ball. “Meow…” “You seem happy, is catnip that good?” “Meow.” Ryder laid on the floor and continued to try and get the ball open so she could get the delicious treat inside.
She even started ignoring Morgyn while she did. Morgyn noticed this and left her alone so she could go watch some Christmas specials. After about a half hour, the catnip effects really took hold of Ryder.
She was so relaxed she was nearly falling asleep. She left the catnip ball behind, then made her way to Morgyn on the couch and hopped up on her lap. “Oh hello. Oh, yeah make yourself comfortable.” Morgyn smiled and started rubbing Ryder’s head.
“Purrr…” The two then watched the rest of the Christmas special that was on, with Ryder decking to take a catnap and sleeping during most of it.” When Ryder woke up, Morgyn was in the kitchen cooking something.
Ryder made her way to the kitchen and hopped on the counter. Morgyn had fun with her, so now it was her time to have fun with Morgyn. When she wasn’t looking, Ryder knocked a metal bowl onto the floor. “Huh? Oh fluffy what are you doing on the counter?”
She tried to show Ryder off, but she wasn’t bugging. Instead, she went to knock a spoon off next. “Don’t do it…. No… Fluffy no..” Ryder smiled as she knocked the spoon off. “That’s it bad kitty.” Morgyn reached towards the sink and grabbed a spray bottle.
She started spraying Ryder with water. “HiiiIIIiiiiSSSs.” Ryder jumped off the counter and ran into the next room. Ryder hid under the table and could see Morgyn laughing in the next room as she picked up Ryder's mess.
Ryder sat under the table, licking her hand and then rubbing the areas that got sprayed. She was mad that her fun was spoiled and planned to go back for round two, but then she got directed by the puffball from her hat next to her.
She once again began to play with it, forgetting all about it. She ended up spending the rest of the day playing and taking naps, but she had a ton of fun doing it. She cuddled up to Morgyn when she went to bed and the two happily snored away together. Now with twenty-one presents left, she could only imagine what tomorrow would have in store.

And so day 4 of 25 and we are only accelerating! And it's just wonderful! as for the story itself... cats rule the world and in my opinion no one will argue with me... Except, of course, dog lovers... And I have always been tormented by questions about which cat is better: a girl cat with human behavior, a girl cat with behavior of a cat, an ordinary cat. All three options are wonderful in their own way and yet... Who is better? Okay, that's basically all, and yes, I liked the story, it shows the behavior of cats very well
