Getting An Upgrade MKV

It's been used in tons of different ways to help the planet and humans evolve, and it has several ways that are kind of meaningless, like entertainment.
That's where I come in. You see, I live in the underworld, which is just the name for the surface of the world now since most people live in floating cities above the earth. Down here, there aren't many jobs for us, so most of us participate in the fighting arenas.
Nearly two hundred and sixty-two years ago, not only was I one of those fighters I was the champion. I was one of the last unenhanced fighters, as all my opponents were being upgraded by sponsors from the overworld.
That led to me losing to a monster with spike balls for hands, and my original body was so damaged they transplanted my mind into the body of an enhanced female who had died during the same tournament.
After that, I was told if I agreed to join a team and become sponsored, and if I became the champion again, they’d bring me to the overworld and let me create a new male body for myself so I didn't have to be an enhanced female anymore.
Well, time after time I lost in the arena, and time after time I’d get a new upgrade, leading to me becoming one of the most top-of-the-line robot fighters, well technically I’m a cyborg or something like that but no one cares about the difference.
My MKIII body was amazingly powerful and should have been the one that got me the win, but my opponent's team had cheated and stole the designs for my body and used it to enhance that meat head with the spike ball hands.
I do have to admit, they didn’t just take the designs, they improved it a ton, and if the fighter hadn't destroyed the area and got the fight postponed I would have lost, but since he did that, my team had enough time to make improvements and make one of the best brain operated robot suits.
Sooner than I would have liked a new safer arena was ready for our final fight. For the meat head, it was just another fight, for me, it was the last chance I had to get a real male human body back and get out of a long life of fighting in this arena.
The fight started much like my last fight with my rival. Lucky for me though, the arena was a massive empty field with no top, so I had the whole sky to fly around in, which my opponent couldn't do since he had thickier heavier metal plates for protection.
I stayed in the air for a while drawing him in his fire. His blasts may be very powerful, but they cost a lot of energy and he’s have to stop shooting eventually to recharge. Then I would move in close and use a mixture of close combat and high-powered blasts.
Once I was in close I had to be quick, as he still had his massive spike ball on a chain, and he was very good at using it for the offense. My team had come up with my strategy though, wait for the ball to fly through the air and use my jets to get super close to him.
I would then use my blast to hit the weak points of his armor and cause them to become loose, then using my super strength I’d rip the pieces off revealing his vital mechanism. I repeated this method until I had his entire chest exposed.
The only thing I had left to do was charge a blast get in close again and let it rip on his weak spots, and I would have won and become the champion again and I’d be heading to the overworld to get my new male body.
That’s what was supposed to happen, but that meathead was willing to lose gracefully. Once he released what he’d lost he ripped his reactor core out of his chest and started overloading it, making it surge with energy.
Alarms started going on around us, and even though the crowd was now miles away they were being evacuated. I then heard my team message me through a communicator installed in my head, they said that what the meathead was doing was creating a bomb capable of destroying half the planet.
His team tried to convince him not to do it, but when he wouldn't listen, they said he was enraged and unresponsive. They then tried to force a shutdown, but he had somehow removed the shutdown measures and most of his other safety limiters.
My team told me to hurry back to the facility and they’d take me into space to avoid dying here, but I couldn’t just leave, especially since most of the people in the underworld would be stuck here and die, and those that didn’t would be living in hell.
I knew it was crazy but I flew toward my opponent and grabbed his reactor core from his hand. I looked at it and a status screen of info appeared in my vision, it calculated that this reactor core was past the point of cooling down and destruction was only a minute away.
I ran towards a shield generator used for the battle, one that had been specifically enhanced to try and match the power of our new bodies and I removed part of it. I placed it around the core and the shield wrapped it in a dome. I flew around the area collecting as many as I could.
I had about thirteen layers on when I had thirty seconds left, so I grabbed the whole thing and started spinning around as fast as possible and then I let go of the thing and sent it flying into space. The thing exploded in the domes and the whole planet felt like it moved, but it wasn’t destroyed.
I let out a sigh of relief for a second because the next second I had a hand bursting out of my chest. It was the damn meathead again, he was still able to move without his core, well at least I thought that was his core, it turned out to be a secondary core he stash in his body for this very purpose.
I felt my body be ripped in half again, this time without any pain, just a weird separating sensation, then my head was removed, and the last thing I remember before blanking out was his horrid smile as he reveled in winning.
Well after that debacle, the entire system for the fighting arrenas had changed. They decided to use planets that are uninhabited or abandoned as the arenas from now on, and only broadcast the fights and not have live attendees.
Of course, my fight was the most popular yet, so despite the fact my opponent cheated and nearly killed everyone, they ruled him the winner. Of course, he was still too wild for them, so they forced him to retire.
Well, they said he recited, but what they really did was remove his brain from his body and burn the damn thing so it couldn’t be used again, then they placed his mind inside of a rolling severing bot, one that looks like a trashcan with legs and speeds around on little wheels.
The dude was so dumb though, that he didn’t even realize he was a real person, he works purely off the suggestions coded into a chip inserted into his brain, so he’s harmless now, unless you step in front of him then he’ll run over your foot.
Now onto what happened to me. I technically lost and since the area committee wasn’t willing to change the outcome due to chatting my team lost their money and was forced to disband, which meant my contract was to be sold off.
Much like the meathead, they considered me trouble, so I was also forced into a type of retirement. They allowed me to break my contract with them, which meant I was no longer obligated to fight in the arena, but I also had no chance of getting my body back.
Surprisingly though, they offered to allow me to become a citizen of the overwold. I’d be given a small apartment and I’d have to work a job, but I’d have control of my life and I wouldn't have to spend all my time fighting to survive.
I was given a new robot body, a standard one used by most robots on the overworld, it was great for moving around in and had all the sensations that a real body would have, minus all the things designed for battle.
As you can see though, they once again gave me a female body. I didn’t even bother to ask for a male one at this point, I had my freedom and a new life to start and I wasn't going to let anything ruin it for me.
In the coming months, I ended up finding a job working as a personal servant and caregiver to a wonderful family. They even allowed me to move in with them so I didn’t have to pay for the tiny apartment I was given.
I’ve been with them ever since, and since they overworlds naturally have long to never-ending Lives thanks to their technology. I’ll likely be with them for a very long time, but that’s okay, I’m happier here and life is far from stressful.
I also need the money I get from working hard here. I’ve been slowly saving up to afford the procedure for a new real body. I know exactly what I want, Blue long hair, Short height, slim build, curvy waist, a plump butt, and breasts at least the same size as these metal ones I have now.
Yes I know, I finally have my chance to get a male body again, and I’m throwing it away to stay a cute adorable female, but let me tell you, even in a robot body I’ve been treated so well by everyone, and I’m far form that brute that fought in the arena all those years ago.
I’m happy with my new life up here, and I’m super excited about wearing clothes again after getting my new body. I’m also interested in some of the enhancements Overworlders have available to them. I remember seeing something for breasts that let you control the size at will.
So that’s my story, the story of how I got an upgrade from an aging beat-up scruffy underworlder to a hot sexy robot servant overworlder. My time in the spotlight and the arena is over now, but it’ll always have a special place in my life, and I’ll always watch and cheer on the new fighters.

Amazing ending... Incredibly kind and bright despite all the darkness that lurks behind the scenes... thank you very much Riley, you managed to tell an amazingly beautiful and bright story

This is the last part of this story, but I think I might make more stories involving this world in the future, following new characters and events.
