Dallas also has great bars and clubs if you want a fun night out!! don’t have to wear country clothes, not all DFW clubs need it. but fun places like Red River are country themed (but don’t only play country music) so it’s always fun to show up in boots!

Travel tip for Jack!!— if you like Austin you should try DFW!! Dallas is a kinda cleaner Austin with tons of fun stuff, and Fort Worth is known for the stockyards. i’d plan to go on a rodeo night, tons of BBQ, cattle being shown, and just fun country vibes!! but overall DFW area is super fun if you enjoy the country things about Austin. i’d offer to show you around but i doubt you wanna go w someone who watches the pod LOL so just google fun things to do i assure you that you’ll find loads!!

have yet to finish the full episode so idk if they talk about it later but i agree with tom about the bruce movie. SOME SPOILERS IG? it's not a typical biopic that simply outlines his entire journey to stardom so any conflict feels meaningless but it instead chooses to highlight one specific very interesting point in his life. i knew bruce's story vaguely thanks to the tom talks and some other research, but seeing it play out in front of you, with the panic attack at the carnival, or him sitting on his dad's lap after his return to performing hits so much harder. the childhood flashbacks felt necessary to me, without them any scene with his dad in would be basically redundant. jeremy allen white was really good, his voice at the start is a bit silly but maybe that's because he's just been shouting born to run and is knackered. romance subplot was unnecessary but didn't detract. i didn't think it was the best movie in the world but it made me emotional and it made me feel and it was a lovely cinema experience and you can't ask for much more than that :')
