What do you wish for: LandlordO
🕑 Added 2023-10-06 01:27:25 +0000 UTCHolding the ticket in their hands, LandlordO closes their eyes and begins to think about appearing before the genie. The number 73 appears on the ticket, and LandlordO is instantly teleported in front of a genie.
“Welcome to my realm LandlordO! Your ticket number is seventy-three, and that's next in line! So step on up and get a free wish from the genie of orbs!” With that, the genie waits for you to speak your wish.
“I wish to be a super prodigy.” The genie tilts her head. “That’s it? Do you have something more specific? No, you’re just going to let me pick? Well alright, more fun for me, stay here I’ll be back.”
The genie wanders off and grabs a few different orbs, they all have slightly different patterns and colors. The genie started picking some out of her pile and tossing them away until only one was left in her hands.
“This one it is!” The genie yells from afar before heading back to LandlordO. “This one will be perfect for you!” She places it in LandlordO’s hand takes their other hand and places it on top of the orb.
“This orb will take effect when I send you back to your world. It’ll rewrite your history and make you a prodigy in…. You know what, I’ll leave that as a surprise for when you get back.” The genie giggles.
“Now off you go!” The genie lifted her hand and snapped her fingers and suddenly Lan was back in her home standing up in front of a music stand with sheet music spread out on it. She also had a violin propped up against her neck.
She looked at the instrument for a minute, and suddenly her head started to fill up with the proper knowledge for playing it. She started moving her arm and fingers and suddenly muscle memory took over and the room filled with the sounds of music.
She played for nearly an hour, mostly because she was really into it, but also because she wanted to see how good she truly was. She put the violin back into its case and decided to look around her house to see what else came with being a music prodigy.
As expected, there were a ton of other instruments lying around, like a cello, several flutes, and even a grand piano. All of which as she looked at them she instantly knew how to play. She also had tons of books containing sheet music for all those instruments.
She continued walking around the house, she eventually stumbled into the living room where she noticed a ton of new photos in frames. Most of them had a young brown-haired girl playing different instruments.
Others had that same girl in pictures with Lan’s parents. Lan remembered what the genie had said, about her wish to rewrite her history, so it seemed she was now that brown-haired girl, and had always been her.
It was so wired to Lan though, she didn’t feel different, or even slightly out of place in this new body. Even the glasses she now had felt like they had always been there. She already felt adjusted to her new life, the beauty of magic she supposed.
She went to the kitchen to grab some water before she went back to playing some music. As she approached the fridge door she saw a flyer for a local music competition that was scheduled for today.
She pulled it off the fridge and stared at it. She had to join. Lan had amazing talent it was about time she shared it with the world. She went and found her father and asked if he could drive her to the competition.
He agreed and Lan ran to her music room and grabbed her violin case. She stopped to look at the music sheets, she didn’t need to take any, she just wanted to decide which one she would be playing today.
Once she had decided, she packed her instrument in the car and made her way to the competition. She of course one the entire thing, and gave the world the first glimpse of Lan the musical prodigy.

*mind of the “goddess” Aqua* Today was just a disgusting day Kazuma took the task of clearing the nearest dungeon from the undead and took me with him AS BAIT!!! *loud sounds of crying* they ran after me throughout the dungeon while Kazuma destroyed them ONE BY ONE... we returned home only at night and Kazuma didn’t even give me money for wine!!! I had to go to bed... well, at least Agent L.O.W. I was pleased, but managed to fundamentally resolve the issue with relatively insignificant carriers of desires; the fact is that all information about minor anomalies comes to the Agency through an automated tracking department and it filters out background distortions and transmits the information further, so the agent L.O.W. managed to infiltrate this automated system and now all reports will first go to him and he will send them further, while he managed to pull it all off so that absolutely no one noticed it and if he doesn’t make any mistakes it will remain so and he will try his best to weed out small desires and not arouse suspicion
