Marlo a mage from the kingdom of Ollockolas was climbing up Mount Dragon’s tooth looking for something he and most people of the realm had thought was long exstinct. He was looking for a subspecies of dragons called Droci.
The Droci were a fantastic species of dragon. History says that they were super friendly with humans, they even say the females take on a human-like state when they’re ready to begin reproduction.
It made sense. They were said to have impenetrable scales covering their entire body, so how on earth would a male be able to have sex with a female? As cool as it was that they could transform, it’s that very reason they were driven into extinction.
Humans would hunt them for their scales, and since the females were weak in their human-like forms, they were easy to kill. With no females, their numbers dwindled and they eventually disappeared, becoming a mere fairy tail.
Marlo was an expert on the subject, and he believed they were real, and not only that he knew about a secret power that they had. He knew that they may not be invincible, but they had eternal life.
He knew if he could find a living one he could take that power for himself, and thanks to a recent stroke of luck he discovered a recently deceased female Droci at the base of the mountain, which is why he decided to climb it.
He was nearing the top when he discovered a large cave. He decided to check it out, at the very least he could take a break, another stroke of luck hit him when he found a large nest with three large dragon eggs sitting in it.
He jumped into the nest and started inspecting the eggs. Finally, his luck turned as one of them cracked open and a baby dragon as big as him jumped out looking hungry. He looked at Marlo and started to creep towards him.
Marlo panics and starts to cast one of his emergency spells, to transform his body into that of the target he hits. He didn’t really want to be a dragon, but he could always change when he left, of course with his new eternal life.
He hit the baby dragon with a ball of magic and it bounced back at him to change him. His body got much larger, growing from five foot ten, to a whopping ten feet tall. Horns grew out of the top of his head, and a large tail grew from his lower back.
His ears got pointier, and thick dragon scales started to appear on his body, from his feet up to his upper thighs, and his fingertips to near his shoulders. Marlo was confused as to why it didn’t cover his body like it did the baby in front of him, that's when his body kept changing.
Suddenly his hair started to grow longer, turning dark red. His waist started to feel tight, and the sides started to shrink inwards. The opposite was happening below it, with his hips pushing out the sides, and his thighs and ass growing larger.
Marlo was confused, but when his chest started growing he realized what had happened. He looked at the baby dragon and realized it was female, so when he used his spell, he accidentally turned himself into one as well.
It was too late for him to stop it, so he had to watch as his new breasts grew. They grew and grew until they were a size Marlo had never seen before, but considering he was now larger than humans it sort of made sense.

He roared again, and Marlo remembered what she had read about adult male Droci, they were very territorial, and didn’t accept other males in their domain, females were accepted, as long as they should the male they were submissive and no threat.
So Marlo did what the history books said females did, he got onto all fours and pointed his head to the ground and his ass in the air. This seemingly worked as the male walked over to the back of the cave and sat down.
Relieved Marlo decided it was time for her to leave for a bit, it was too risky for her right now. As she reached the cave exit, the male dragon roared again. Marlo turned around and saw him gesturing with his wing.

She told herself that she would change back after laying her next set of eggs, but two months later she laid those eggs and once again had sex with her male. By then, she could barely remember her old life, but she kept telling herself next time.

Now nearly ten thousand years later she’s still at it, but thanks to all her efforts the Droci dragons have now returned from extinction and live peacefully alongside humans protecting them and helping them where they could.
Marlo became known as the mother of dragons, and humans would often climb the mountain to honor her and her mate with gifts. Marlo has long forgotten her old life, for all, she knows she’s always been a dragon, which is probably for the better, she’s far better suited for this life than her old one.

No, you are absolutely right! Without these details the story would really look worse, I mean something else... and here it’s really more about the translator since I lost the thread of the story a couple of times while reading (precisely at the beginning of the story until the arrival of the male) I just can’t explain it in more detail ...I'm sorry about that

The beginning just sets up the character and why he was climbing the mountain. It go into detail about the type of dragons and why the main character is after them. Im not sure how or what per is different, I know I made up some names for the characters and places that don’t exist, but it doesn’t sound like that’s the issue. If you could tell me what part seems different maybe I could explain it.

Any mother feels sincere pride in her children, especially if the children are so respected and what difference does it make whether you are a person or not? As one of my friends says, Dragons are people too! As for the story itself, either my translator is acting up or something is not quite normal with the text, but the beginning of the story is seriously different from most of your other stories... I don’t know for the worse or for the better. it just seems that what I’m reading is somehow unusual... but other than that, you managed to tell this story very well and I’m really looking forward to next month!!!
