“I can’t believe the principal finally agreed to let me wear the girl's uniform to school! I’m so nervous and excited!” I picked up the uniform the principal had given me. “Well, it’s not exactly a new uniform, honestly looks as old as my parents, but it’s mine and that’s all that matters!”
I hugged the uniform. “I was going to wait for school on Monday to try it, but I just can’t wait any longer.” I slip the dress I was wearing to the ground and grab the uniform. I slip the white button-up shirt and button all the buttons.
“It’s a bit loose in the chest area, I guess whoever wore this was a bit bustier than me, but my breasts are still growing so I might be able to fill this out eventually.” I slip the skirt on, followed by wrapping the bow around my neck.
“Hmmm, the skirt is a bit tight around the waist. I guess the girl who wore this was skinny as well. I can only imagine what she looked like. Just thinking about how pretty she must have been makes me envious.”
Finally, I slip the blazer on and I’m now in my new uniform. “It’s even better than I imagined.” I start twirling the skirt and looking at myself in the mirror when the air feels cold and it feels like something is pushing into me.
“What was tha…..” “Finally I’m back in the world of the living! It was about time” Suddenly my body lifted its hands up and started celebrating. “What? What’s going on? I can’t control myself anymore.”
My body chuckles, but in a way I’ve never done before. “Oh, it seems you’re still in here. I was hoping when I took over you’d disappear.” My body walked up closer to the mirror. “Wait what? You took over my body? Who are you?”
“That’s right, after all these years, some unsuspecting girl put on my uniform, and now I have full control of your body.” I was speechless, I couldn’t even begin to understand how this was possible.
The girl now possessing my body started to fiddle around in it. She took my hands and started groping my breasts. “What the hell do you think you're doing to me!” My body laughed. “I’m not doing anything to you, this is my body now.”

The girl slid the panties up and dropped the skirt back in place. “I see, science and medicine must have come a long way since I died. I guess I can work with this, if it’s a girl you were after I’m the best suited to craft your body into it.”
The girl walks over to my closet and pulls out a pair of knee socks and my school shoes. “Why are you the best suited? Who are you?” The girl slips on a sock. “Well technically I’m Heather Chandler, and I kinda died a long time ago, but now I’m you, speaking of which who are you?”
Heather slipped on the other sock and started to slip my shoes on. “I’m Veronica…. And you’re not me! Give me back my body!” The girl paused for a second. “Ha ha, no way you’re named Veronica. Fate has decided to give me revenge, even if in a small way.”
Now she has both shoes on, she hops off my bed and starts walking down the stairs. “Where the hell do you think you’re taking my body?” The girl looks back and forth. “I’m going to the salon. The state of your hands and hair are enough to kill me again.”
She just starts walking like she has a clue where she’s going. To my surprise, she makes it to a salon in under ten minutes. “Ah, my salon is still here! I wonder if my stylist is still here!” Heather runs right into the salon.
“Hello! I’m here to get my hair and nails done! Is Mallory working?” An older woman from the back walks forward. “Yes I am, but you’re much younger than most of my clients, are you sure you’re looking for me?”
Heather pauses for a moment. “Um, yeah I recently found a picture of my late aunt, and you used to do her hair, I’d like my hair done similarly.” The woman smiled and guided Heather to a chair.
“Your aunt? Who was she if you don’t mind me asking.” Heather smiled as soon as the woman asked. “She was Heather Chandler, and she was so pretty and smart and everyone loved her.. Or so I’ve heard.”
The woman looked surprised to hear that name. “Heather was your aunt? She used to be my best customer. I still remember exactly how she likes her hair to this day.” Heather smiled. “Is that so? Could you do that for me? I’d love to look like my aunt!”
“I sure can, I’ll have to bleach and dye your hair, and cut nearly two inches off, is that okay?” Heather nodded and sat back. “Stop it! Don’t dye my hair blonde! Also, don’t cut my hair, it took me so long to grow it out!”
Heather started to mutter under her breath so Mallory couldn't hear her. “Shut up, get this through your dumb head, it’s my body now and I make the decisions, you don’t get a say anymore.”
I kept trying to talk to Heather but she just ignored me. So I was stuck watching as my hair was bleached and dyed blonde, dried and cut, then curled. At that came a manicure, which was actually quite nice, I should get more of these once I get my body back.
“There you go sweety, all done, and I must say you look almost identical to your aunt.” Heather gets up and looks in the mirror. “Your right! It’s perfect! I’m glad to see you haven't lost your talent after all these years.”
Mallory laughs. “You make me sound so old, but I’ll still take it as a compliment.” Heather gets up and walks to the counter. She pulled out my wallet which I didn’t even know she had grabbed, and paid for the services.
She goes to walk out when Mallory calls out to her. “Hey kid, I didn’t catch your name?” Heather turns around. “Oh, I’m Veronica! Remember my name, as I’ll be back as long as you continue working here!”
“No, you’re not! I’m Veronica!” Heather walks out of the salon and continues walking down the street. “You must really be stupid, I am Veronica now, you nothing but a voice in my head and that’ll never change. All you’re good for now is entertainment for me.”
“What? What do you mean?” Heather giggles. “Well listening to you complain and get embarrassed about what I do to you is fun for me.” “I… uh…” “That’s right, know you’re finally understanding your new place in my world.”
Heather finds a clothing store and heads inside. “I’m sure fashion has changed a lot since my time, but I’m still pretty sure anything you own is trash. I think I’ll need some new clothes for the new Veronica.”
I remained silent as I watched Heather try on all kinds of skirts, dresses, and shirts, all of which were designed to show off a woman's body, stuff I’d die of embarrassment wearing. She spent nearly four hundred dollars, I’m lucky I had enough money.
She returned to my house and tossed out all my old clothes, replacing them with what she bought. “What's wrong, got nothing to say about me tossing all these scraps in the trash? Or is it you’ve accepted being a viewer in my body?”
‘It’s… not your body…” “Oh that was so pathetic, can’t you try harder, or maybe beg a bit?” Heather takes the school uniform off and gets into one of the dresses she bought, placing the uniform on the side.
“I can’t wait until Monday, when I get to walk down the halls again, wearing my signature uniform. I’ll also have a lot of work to do. With how pathetic you seem, I doubt you're very popular at school, but I’ll change that in no time.”
Heather gets into the dress and pushes her ass out to make it look bigger. “Oh yeah, the boys are going to love this, I bet they won’t care what's between my legs, once they get to play with the rest of me.”
“Wait, what? You don’t mean…” Heather smiled. “Oh don’t tell me you’ve never… Well, you’re in for some fun experiences. You get to watch as I become the most popular girl, by flirting with boys and gossiping with girls, your new life is going to be amazing.”
That’s exactly what she did. It only took a few months before the new Veronica was the most popular girl in school. Most of the girls were jealous of her, and most of the boys wanted to sleep with her.
Heather had turned Veronica into the modern-day version of herself, a blonde mean girl who was perfect in every way, according to Heather. The real Veronica was stuck watching from within, the ghost of her new self.
