Unlike most spell books, it only really had two spells. The rest of the book was dedicated to research about them. The spells were named Aufer and the second one was named attachiatus.
The first one was used to remove the essence from a man and turn it into a totem of sorts, allowing it to be stored. The second was used to reach the totem to the former man or attach the totem to another woman to create a new man.
Neither Robin nor I believed it was real, it had to be some sort of adult joke book, but she insisted we try it out. Since I was the only one between us with the essence of a man, I was to be the test subject for Robin.
She took the book and I stood in the middle of the room and stared at her. It took her a few minutes to start doing anything, I guess she kept reading. She started to chant the words for the Aufer spell.

He told me he couldn’t wait to get a hold of this food, telling me that he feels so much hungrier now as a man. I smiled and told him I know all too well, but pointed out not all men are like that, more than likely it was because of my essence.
He sat at the table and I brought the food to him. He asked me when I wanted to switch back. I told him as much fun as it’s been, I’d like to swap back after breakfast. He agreed and asked me where I put the book.
Confused I asked him what he meant. I thought he had taken the book. Suddenly we both had a panicked look on our faces. We began searching my house for the book, even tearing the damn house apart, but it was gone.
It was gone, nowhere to be found. The book somehow up and vanished. I was freaking out and still looking through my house despite knowing it was gone, and Robin had given up looking and sat on my couch.
He eventually had to grab me and sit me on the couch next to him. He told me we had to accept that we were stuck like this. I told him no way, I’d find the book and swap us back. He sighed and told me that it wasn’t that bad.
I asked him what he meant, and he said it was obvious. He said the way I jumped around and acted all girly so naturally clearly meant I liked being a girl, and he admitted he quite enjoyed being a man.
I was at a loss for words, he like being a man, and I liked being a woman. He then mentioned how cute I was sleeping in his arms last night, and was surprised he didn’t wake me up with his dick poking into my back.

We never found out what happen to the book, but it was magic, so it might have made itself disappear, so there was nothing we could do about it. I like to think it did it on purpose though, as it knew we’d both be happier like this.

Magic is a very complex and incomprehensible thing ... Some people even claim that it is intelligent in itself! As for me, this is nonsense, but it is necessary to replace that there are a huge variety of different intelligent magical artifacts ...
