Cursed objects: The beach ball
🕑 Added 2023-07-28 17:11:01 +0000 UTCGo to the beach they said, you’ll have fun they said, what's the worst thing that could happen they said. Well, I think one of the worst things that could happen is going to the beach as a man and being turned into a woman.
Yup, that's right, thanks to my friends literally prying me out of my house and dragging me to the beach, I went from a short unfit nerdy guy to a very busty, fit, and very attractive black-haired woman. How? Well, it was the exact reason why I was shutting myself inside my house.
Cursed objects have become quite a problem in our world, and the cursed object department is having a hard time keeping track of all the new items being cursed. It doesn't help that a ton of people still deny they exist, but I believe in them.
My cousin had encountered one while he… I mean she was in college, and now she’s a professional cheerleader and a mother. So after that happened I figured I’d stay indoors and work from home until they manage to get this thing under control.
My friends though didn’t believe me and insisted I join them at the beach for a day. Resorting to pretty much kidnapping me. Once we got there and set up, I had to admit it was nice to be outside again. Hiding inside living in fear can be a bit much on the mental state after a while.
So we hung out on the beach, swimming, wrestling, digging holes, and playing some football. I was sitting on a beach towel, starting to really enjoy the day when one of my friends came running over with a large bag.
He dropped it in front of me and started telling everyone some lady gave him a free beach volleyball set, net, balls, and all. Everyone seemed excited and started tearing all the items out of the bag. They each took a piece and started setting it up.
Since I was sitting they handed me the two volleyballs and a deflated beach ball to hold, so they would roll off. Watching them set up the net, made me realize we’re not the smartest group of friends.
They kept getting tangled in each other and falling over, but at least they were having a good time. It took about fifteen minutes before the net was up and secured into the sand properly, and thus the games began.
They started with one-on-one matches, then eventually got to teams. I played a few matches but was awful at it, so I became the referee. After a bit, they wanted a new challenge, so I tossed the other volleyball in.
Now the game was to keep the balls in the air for as long as possible. They seemed to really like the challenge and asked for more balls. So I tossed the football into the mix as well. Now things were getting crazy.
Of course that still wasn't enough for them, so they asked me to inflate the beach ball and toss it in. So I picked it up and opened the inflation tube so I could blow air into it. As soon as I put my lips on it I felt a zap.
Followed by what I swore was someone telling me not to do it. I looked behind me, but no one was there, so I continued to inflate it. I begin to inflate the ball, taking a deep breath and exhaling it into the ball.
After about a minute and ten or eleven good breaths, I got the ball fully inflated and ready to use. I look up at my friends ready to toss the ball into the mix to see them all looking at me horrified and confused.
I asked what happened. Why did the game stop? They all just seemed speechless, until one of them pointed at me. I looked down and my deepest fear had come to life, my body had transformed. I dropped the beach ball and it rolled towards my friends who all jumped out of the way of it.
I reached out and confirmed that I wasn’t hallucinating or dreaming. My new long hair was firmly attached to my head. These breasts were very real, heavy, and sensitive to the touch, and also firmly attached to my chest.
My clothes had changed, I was now wearing nothing but a bikini, which made it very clear I was now dickless. I looked up at my friends and asked how this happened, only to start crying once I heard my new high-pitched voice.
I fell to the ground and several of my friends came and sat with me, while the rest followed the ball and told people not to touch it. They managed to contain the ball without touching it and they called the police, who in turn sent out the cursed object department.
I had just kinda broken inside, and I was lying on the beach looking at the sky when they arrived. They cleared the beach of everyone but my friends and me, and then they started examining the ball and determined it was currently active.
So they packed it up into a container and began to question my friends. Then one of them came to talk to me. I was kinda just out of it, but they had me get into their helicopter and fly over to their facility.
They got some clothes to wear so I wouldn’t be uncomfortable while they worked on my paperwork.
By the end of the day, all my official records were changed to reflect how I was cursed. I was told they were looking for the lady who provided the ball.
It was likely she knew it was cursed, and when they found her she’d be arrested and charged. They then offered me their continued services, for learning about my new body and adapting, and handed me all the paperwork I needed. After that, I just left the building and stared out into the street.
I was still just numb, on one hand this sucks and is inconvenient, on the other hand, I didn’t get turned into something bad, and being in better shape will definitely be an improvement in my life. It’s just, that it feels like I have to start over.
I have no idea what I’m doing, and yeah they offered to help with that but, I don’t know. I just don’t know. That's when I remembered my cousin, maybe she could help, or at least understand how I felt. I called her and she answered right away.
She greets me, then gets confused when she hears a feminine voice coming from me. She asked if I was a stranger who found my phone and I told her no, that it was me. Then she went silent and asked if I was at the Cursed object department.
I told her yes, that I was standing outside in front of it. She told me to stay there and she’d come to pick me up. About twenty minutes later she pulled up in front of the building with her daughter. She got out of the car and walked up to me.
She put her hands on my shoulders and asked if I was okay, and I kinda started crying again. The next thing I knew, she was hugging me and telling me it would be okay, she had me get into the passenger seat, and we drove off to a local ice cream shop.
I sat at a table with her daughter and waited while she got us all ice cream. As we ate them, I told her what had happened and what transformed me. Then she went into more detail about what happened to her.
I guess it was pom-poms that transformed her, and it was at an awful moment as she was drunk. She then said she hated it at first, but now she wouldn’t change a thing, then she looked at her daughter who had ice cream all over her face.
She then told me she had plenty of people to help her when she transformed, so she had all the knowledge needed to help me. I thanked her, and we returned to her house that night. She insists I take a shower and get to know my new body.
It’ll help alleviate the disconnection feeling I’m having. So I do just that, as awkward as it was. Once I get out I just stare at my reflection, this is the reflection I’ll be seeing for the rest of my life. I guess there are worse faces and bodies to have. No matter what, It’s not a body to keep inside hidden away, even if there’s a chance to be cursed again, I think this might be nice…

wow, not only is this a new story about a cursed object, but it also ties together several of your other stories from the same series, I like it! and yes, I hope and another episode from the face of the same character where he accidentally discovers another cursed item.
