Cursed object: Seeing glasses
🕑 Added 2023-07-27 22:11:30 +0000 UTCIt’s been about three and a half years since you wrote your first book. That first book made you blow up, and become one of the most popular romance fantasy writers. Since then, you’ve spent every day writing and completing more books.
Everything was going smoothly for you. You were able to write book after book, in your series without ever encountering a block or lack of inspiration. That was until last week. For the first time in your career, you couldn’t come up with anything.
You tried to force yourself through the block, but the stress and overwork caused your eyes to begin straining and giving you headaches. So you thought getting a pair of reading glasses would solve that problem so you could continue trying.
You make an appointment at the nearest ophthalmologist. You go in and get a prescription but none of the glasses they offered were in a style you liked. So you go back home and browse options online.
After searching for a while, you found a pair that seemed comfortable and would look good on you. You put them into your cart, and check out. You added expedited shipping, so they would get here as soon as possible.
About a week later they arrived, and you tear the box open to get to them, throwing the box to the side and placing the glasses right over your eyes. You definitely weren't used to wearing them, but for your work to continue you had no choice.
After a few minutes, your eyes adjusted and everything actually looked clearer than before you put them on, and your headaches were gone. So you sit down at your desk and stare at the page you were working on.
Like magic, you suddenly felt your writer's block go away, in fact, you felt more inspiration and ideas flowing into your head than ever before. You lose yourself in your work, unable to focus on anything other than your book.
You ended up writing all night into the late afternoon of the next day, but it was worth it as you finished your newest book. You stand up and stretch, and your body feels very stiff and different, likely due to working all night.
So you decide to go get some coffee to wake yourself up. You walk over to your coffee machine and look down to try and fill it, but you realize your view is obstructed. You grab the things blocking your view and try to move them.
This causes waves of an unfair sensation through your body. Whatever it was you just grabbed it was attached to your body. Curious, you remove your shirt and are stunned to find you’ve somehow grown massive breasts.
You had no idea how it was possible for you to have grown breasts overnight, but before you could begin to figure it out, you had to know if it was the only change. So you unbutton your shorts and remove them.
You couldn’t really see down there due to your breasts, so you just ran your hand across your crotch to confirm you no longer had your dick. You didn’t just grow boobs, you had become a full-fledged woman.

You sat down and spoke with a young black-haired woman in a red jacket. She explained cursed objects and told you her story about how she got cursed. Then she told you that the glasses you ordered were likely cursed.
You give her the glasses and they manage to acquire you a new pair while you're filling out paperwork for your new identity. A couple hours pass and you have a new driver's license and all your information was changed to reflect you being a female now.
As you’re leaving the woman in the red jacket says goodbye to you, leaving you with the warning to watch out for cursed objects as you can be cursed more than once, and the effects stack. So there you were standing outside the building looking out towards the sky. You weren't upset about the fact of having to live the rest of your life as a woman, instead, you were thinking about how great a story this would be.
