Into The Game: Noelle
My birthday was last week and for it, I got the best present of all time. I got three tickets to the best video game convention held in my country. With three tickets, I can take my best friends Adam and Ervin.
So we began preparing for the event. We split a small hotel room, and we got someone to give us a ride to the event, and a ride back home afterward. Then we stock up on snacks, sodas, and boxes of noodles to eat while we’re there.
All that was left was to get some costumes, we’ve been playing a lot of Genshin Impact together lately so we decided to do a group cosplay. I picked Diluc, Adam picked Razor and lastly, Ervin picked Bennett.
They weren't the best costumes as they were kinda cheap. We didn’t have a ton of extra money for good ones, and we’re even worse at making them, so it's what we got, and that's okay with me, I still love it.
So the day arrives and the gang wakes up early and gets in line to enter. Once we were in we were amazed at how big it was, and all the amazing cosplayers that were attending. We grab one of the event brochures and huddle in the corner to figure out what we can do.
Adam is still seventeen for another month, so he can’t go into any of the adult areas, and there's no way we’re abandoning him so that cuts out a small bit of things. So we decided to go browse the seller's booths, even though we didn’t have enough money to buy anything.
We walk around for about an hour, stopping at nearly every booth to admire the stuff for sale. As we’re walking by we get waved at by a woman working a genshin impact stand. We walk over and greet her.
She tells us our costumes look amazing, and we tell her the same, as she’s wearing an amazing Barbara costume. She then turns towards her table and grabs three small tickets, then she hands them to use.
They had a code on them, the woman tells us The creators of Genshin are offering ten free draws for characters in the game for those who attend the event. She told us, there was a whole area set up upstairs where we could go to redeem them.
This was awesome, there was a new banner with a cool new character I really wanted, but I ran out of fates to use. So we thanked the woman and ran off towards the area she said they had the game set up.
There were quite a few people already there, I guess free in-game money is quite the attention grabber. So we waited in line until a spot opened up, and then the three of us huddled together and started to redeem our codes.
Adam went first and got a nice five-star weapon, Then Ervin went and got some new characters, but not the ones on the banner. Then I went and got nothing new, I was bummed but that’s how the game works, no big deal.
So I was already logged in, so I asked the gang to play a few missions and they were entirely on board. We each picked a character to add to the group, I chose Noelle for her claymore and shield, Adam chose Amber for fire and her bow, and Ervin chose Lisa because she’s hot.
We take turns playing as the characters we picked, doing the daily missions, and then any random mission we found along the way. A bit of time passes and we’re still playing when we hear someone start screaming.
We turn our heads to see what's up, just to see people running. A strange humming noise seemed to be coming from where people were running from. Adam got up to go look, but as he did all the lights started flickering.
Ervin pulled out his phone and showed me it was also flashing on and off. Then I heard a loud noise, followed by my ears popping and then everything went silent. I jumped up holding my ears to see some sort of electric wave coming right at us.
When it hit us it pushed us and the table we were sitting at all the way over to the wall of the room, leaving us in a large pile of debris. I was pinned to the ground and couldn’t move and I was slowly losing consciousness.
I woke up immediately after closing my eyes, or at least it felt like it. Instead of being in some sort of hospital, I was in some sort of sleeping area with tons of beds. I looked around and the place was a mess.
It was also very different, there were swords and armor lying around everywhere. I leave the room and recognize the main room. It was identical to the Knights of Favonius Headquarters from Genshin Impact.
It was crazy how realistic it was, this had to be the place they based it on, but why was I here? What happened to my friends? As I was sitting there confused, someone started calling out for Noelle. I of course ignored it, until the woman put her hand on my shoulder.
To my surprise, it was the acting guild master Jean. She began talking to me like we knew each other. Then she asked me if I could clean up her study. I asked her why she wanted me to do it, and she looked surprised but said I was kinda the only maid around.
Now I was confused, if somehow I was in Genshin Impact, and in the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, then the maid here would be Noelle…. I gulped as I looked down, to see a large puffy, and armored maid dress and a rather large pair of breasts.
Jean asked me if I was okay, and I was embarrassed and told her I just needed a moment, then I’d go clean her study. Then I run off, shutting myself into a random room and locking the door. I grab the dress I was wearing in disbelief.
I lift it up and confirm that my bottom parts match my massive top one. I drop the dress to the ground and look through the room for anything reflective. I eventually find a small hand mirror and lift it up to my head. There was no denying it now, I was in fact, Noelle. How was this possible?
Just moments ago I was sitting in a game room playing as her, now I am her. From her cute hair with the maid's headdress, all the way past her big breasts, down to her cute red ribbons on her ankles. One hundred percent, and no trace of my old self, other than my personality.
Once I kinda adjust to the situation I start to think rationally. My friends also have to be here, so I should prioritize finding them. That could be hard though, as there are so many characters, and they could be any.
If I ended up as Noelle, perhaps they ended up as the characters they chose, so I need to find Amber and Lisa. So I left the room I locked myself in, and tried to sneak out of the building, but I was caught by Jean again.
She begged me to clean her study, saying she couldn’t focus because Piamon made a massive mess, and she didn’t have time to clean it with all her work. Then she literally dragged me to her study.
With no choice, I began to tidy up. Picking up tons of books and papers and sorting them. It was kinda fun, and I lost track of what I had been doing before, not remembering until I had the room completely tidy.
Once I was done Jean thanked me profusely. I told her I was more than happy to help and smiled at her. I didn’t really mean to, but I did it instinctually. Jean said she could finally focus on work again and stuck her head into a book.
I was about to leave but stopped and asked her if she had seen Lisa or Amber. She happily told me she saw Lisa easily and she was acting as weird as usual in the library, and Amber was happily gliding around outside somewhere.
Okay, Lisa seems like the better option. Hopefully, Ervin isn't being too weird in Lisa’s body, I’ll go find her first, and then we can find Adam in Amber's body. Then maybe after that, we can figure out what happened, and how to get out.

this is a very special signature and I want to tell you so much about it... if I knew that this poll was not just for nothing, but for the sake of a new signature, I would just change the character I voted for (I myself don’t like to work more than necessary and I don’t force others to do it if possible) although on the other hand it’s like one story with 3 parts and it threatens to become your best signature! (at least I liked this first episode) it's very nice to see that he got not only Noelle's body but also a bit of her skills and personality (at least the skill and love of cleaning ... maybe there is something else but I could not determine it) and yes, a small detail, but I’m very interested in what happened at this exhibition (I don’t advise you to reveal it until you decide to end this series ... this way the intrigue is better preserved) although I have a theory ... what will happen if some ancient and powerful witch curses not some specific thing (a bell, a tangerine, a red jacket) but something a little more abstract ... for example, all the electronic equipment at the exhibition? (Yes, I linked your "in the game" series with the "curse items" series, but you yourself wrote somewhere that all your stories take place +/- in the same world, so is that bad?)
