Escaping my crimes
🕑 Added 2023-07-22 22:54:00 +0000 UTCSo I recently became the most wanted man in the kingdom. Why you might ask? Well I killed the king of course. In my defense, he was actually a demon lord disguised as the king, but the people didn’t know that.
He was on the verge of starting a world war between the major kingdoms, Rheadomia and Kledndoria, which would kill millions of innocent people. So I had no choice but to sneak in at night and kill the demon.
It wasn’t that hard, despite the fact he was a demon lord. I guess being a five hundred year old master wizard makes things quite easy, well at least when it comes to killing, not so much for not getting caught I guess.
Yeah, that's right, I was caught in the act. Even though it was easy to defeat him, we still broke out into battle, which caused all the knights to flood around us, and well they all watched as I blasted their king into meaty chunks.
If that damn demon didn’t insist on staying in human form then I wouldn’t be wanted, but that bastard knew he’d condemn me to fleeing for the next couple decades, but it was worth it for the sake of the people.
I was hiding out in my lair, preparing my things so I could leave this kingdom, when I felt a large magical spear appear around the entire kingdom. I looked up to see the kingdom surrounded by a huge magical dome.
I’ve never seen one this big, but I knew exactly what it was for. It was a barrier to keep people out, or in this case me in. The worst part is it prevents teleportation magic from passing through it.
So it seems they plan to hold everyone hostage until they find me. I did what I did to protect people, so there's no way I’m going to let them starve while the kingdom searches for me, there's also no way I’m giving myself up.
Luckily I have a few tricks up my sleeve which are perfect for tricking dumb soldiers. One night approaches, I sneak out of my lair and make my way to a local mortuary. I break in and head to where they keep the recently deceased.
I look through the bodies, most of which are torn to pieces, too old, or have been dead too long. After ten minutes I found a perfect corpse, well maybe not perfect, but it died hours ago and was still capable of holding a soul and recovering from its damages.
It’s definitely not one I prefer, but anything will do right now. I pull the body out and lay it on the ground. I stand above it and start casting my top level healing spell, bringing the body back to life and healing it completely.
Now all that was left was to place my soul and magical power into it. I began to cast the final spell this body will ever cast, with it falling to the ground as everything I am is sucked into this new body.
As soon as I’m fully transferred I wake up in the other body and push my old one off of me. Now they’ll never believe I just died here, so I have reanimated this body. So I do a simple thing, I summon a spirit to possess it.
The spirit unknowingly takes my old body and runs out of the building, unaware he’ll be chased down and executed for my crimes, but I’m sure he’ll learn and come and try and haunt me for it later.
With that I return to my lair and wait. This also gave me time to adjust my mana to this new body. It was much smaller than I’m used to, but I think I can still use my magic safely in it, as long as I’m careful.
But to be safe, I should draw some protection runes around it, to keep my mana from causing excess damage. I get undressed and I’m met with strange undergarments. I was wearing a tight pair of underwear and some sort of chest binding.
I reach down and realize there's nothing between my legs, well at least not manly parts. The body I took over was female. I’ve never become a woman before, and I definitely didn’t want to. I didn’t even know this body was female.
I just thought it was just some young boy. Hopefully they find that fool in my old body and kill him so the barrier comes down. Once I leave this kingdom and head to Rheadomia I can find a new body.
Several days passed and the news of the death of the murder of the king spread quickly. Following it, the barrier came down and things calmed down. I bought a carriage and two horses and packed up all my stuff.
Within two days of the barrier being down, I was on the road. It will be a very long time before I head back there. After days on the road I reach Rheadomia, and acquire a new place to set up my lair.
Once it’s all set up, I once again steal a recently deceased body and return it to my lair. This one though it to my preference, its tall, strong, handsome oh and a man. I go to cast the spell to swap with it, but I could gather enough mana to complete it.
It seems this body is still growing, and needs to finish so it can wield my full magical capacity. So It looks like I’m going to have to experience growing up as a girl before I’m strong enough to change back.

I think he might like being a woman, it's like a new experience... especially since he is now a young and strong girl in the world of the magical Middle Ages... I think another year, 2-3 children, and he will change his mind about this body
