Cursed object: Red jacket
🕑 Added 2023-07-09 16:51:09 +0000 UTCBy now, it's far from a secret that the world is filled with cursed objects, and the rise of newly created ones is on the rise. Luckily we have the Cursed object department to collect and secure these items. My job within C.O. D is object securement.
Once an object has been identified, I’m sent out to collect the item safely and store it away. Luckily I have a stop where I’m the only one who can access it, so no one can ever get to them. I’ve worked many cases, and I’ve secured hundreds of items, during my time here.
You’d be surprised at the things that have become cursed, everything from small coins to truckloads of oranges. I could write a book about all the things I’ve encountered, I mean I have so many stories. Let me tell you about the first cursed object I came across.
It’s actually thanks to that Item, that I eventually got this job. It was just over a decade ago now. I was a fifteen-year-old kid, rummaging through some old buildings one night. As I was jumping around and digging through some random basement, I took a bad step and fell through the floor.
After falling through the floor, I slid down a hole, eventually landing far underground, near an old ruined tower. I picked myself up and looked at the tower. I then looked back up the hole I fell and realized I couldn’t get out that way.
So I head to the tower in hopes of finding a way out, or maybe even some treasure. Once inside, I was surprised to find the inside of the building in such excellent condition, almost like someone had been living there.
I explored the tower for a while until I came across what seemed to be a large vault. I had to know if there was treasure inside, so I entered. The inside was filled with tons of items, but not a whole lot of treasure-looking items.
It was mostly clothes, so I had no idea at the time why they were put into a vault, but it turned out that all the items in that vault were cursed items. So I got very lucky when a bright red jacket on display in the center of the room was the first thing I touched.
I picked it up and put it on, I was surprised it fit. After I put it on, a hologram of a very gorgeous woman appeared in front of the coat stand. She had long black hair, up in a ponytail, big green eyes, and a very large chest.
She was also wearing the same red jacket. She identified herself as the owner of the tower and all its contents. She told me she was the founder of C.O.D., and that it was her job to collect cursed objects.
The reason it was her job to collect them was because she was immune to curses. She then pointed to the objects around the room, saying each and every one had a curse applied to them, including the jacket I put on.
I’ll admit hearing that freaked me out, I had no idea what would happen to me, but it turned out alright. The woman told me she personally cursed the jacket so that if she was dead, and someone put it on, that person could continue her work.
She said the jacket would curse the wearer to turn into a copy of her, which included becoming immune to curses. My freaking out turned into a bit of nervous laughter, as I wasn’t sure if this was a joke or not.
The hologram turned off, and I felt my body heat up. I did my best to stay standing but quickly fell onto my knees. My body started to shrink, and my skin started to get smoother and all the hair fell off.
Areas of my body started to expand like my hips grew out, my butt became plumper, and of course, my chest expanded out, forming two large and sensitive boobs. Then the hair on my head grew all the way down, past my butt.
After that, there was only one real thing that needed to change, and well it was quite painful, I actually passed out as it happened. When I came to, I was alone in the vault. I sat up and looked over my new body.
I wasn’t really sure what to do, but the jacket I was wearing had the C.O.D. employee handbook, with all the info I needed. It had directions to their Headquarters, so once I made my way out of the tower and the cave, I headed straight there.
They were surprised to see me, I guess someone walking in looking like their dead founder is pretty shocking. I sat down with an agent and I explained everything. Lucky for me, the founder had told some people that after her death a replacement would come to them.
So I was offered a job, well kinda forced, but I actually love it now. They also hooked me up with a new identity and all the paperwork I needed. They also provide tons of classes, to help learn about living in a new body, and how to manage things that come with it.
For me, it didn’t take long to adjust, and with my new job, I found myself traveling the world and getting to find a ton of cool objects. I still love how much it freaks my coworkers when I just pick up the items.
They all jump back, while inside their hazmat suits, and I walk away with the object in hand in nothing but shorts, a bikini top, and of course my precious red jacket. It's a pretty cool jacket, and it’s only capable of cursing one person at a time, so it’s safe to wear around like I do.
So yeah, much like you I was also cursed. So I can assure you, just because you’re panicked and scared now, I’m sure you’ll come to love your new body and life. Trust me, I mean you’re very lucky that you just changed genders.
Some people turn into animals or worse, but I’m now allowed to talk about those cases. Now let’s get you your new paperwork, Oh and I’ll need to take those glasses from you, as they can still curse people. Oh and just a warning, be careful, as unlike me, you can be cursed more than once.

Cool. The updated story about the red jacket sounds very good and interesting. I liked it anyway... but the question is what happens if a person takes a few cursed items? for example if he takes a ring that turns him into a girl and then a collar that turns him into a cat will he become a girl cat? I would be very interested to read something similar
