Maid for the job
🕑 Added 2023-06-27 22:30:37 +0000 UTCThings have not been going well for me. I recently dropped out of college due to very poor grades, and it wasn’t looking like I’d be able to fix them anytime soon. So staying would be pointless and a waste of money for me.
That left me needing to find a job and fast, as I was already living out of my car. I needed something that would pay enough so I could at least eat and afford gas for my car. So I hit the internet and began my search.
I applied to everything I could, I’ll be honest I didn’t even read what the jobs were. I just went crazy, I think I applied to over a hundred jobs. Now all I have to do is wait and hope one of them calls me. I kept my phone close to my head as I slept, just in case someone called late at night.
Unfortunately now one did, and that went on through the rest of the week. I became so desperate for a job I picked up a newspaper to check the hiring ads. One of the ads was for a live-in housekeeper. Honestly, if I could get the job it would be perfect, I wouldn’t need to sleep in my car anymore.
So I called the number on the ad and spoke to a woman about coming in for an interview. She seemed hesitant for me to come in, but a man told her he was interested in me, so I ended up getting the okay to come in.
When I got there I met with the woman on the phone and she had me sit in a room with other interviewers. My hopes of getting the job seemed to shatter, as most of the people there seemed to have so much more experience than me.
All I can do is hope for a chance, but realistically I know I'm out of the running. I just sat around watching everyone else get called and leave until it was my turn. I got up and was led to the man's office.
The man stared at me for a few minutes before asking me if I knew what was different about me than all of his other potential employees. I looked down and put my hands over my lap. I looked back up and asked if he meant because I was male and not a female.
He laughed and said yeah, so far he hasn’t hired any males, but it’s not out of the picture. He started telling me about the job. I was expected to live in the maid's quarters and work six days a week for around ten hours.
He would provide a uniform for me to wear while working, and all meals would be provided by his chiefs. My daily tasks would involve sweeping and dusting, washing and drying laundry, cleaning the dishes, mopping the floors for the chiefs, and possibly more.
He then asked me if that was all okay. It sounded great and I told him that. Then he stopped before saying there was a bit of a catch to the job. He pulled out a contract and said that he needed someone to sign up for a minimum of two years.
He did say that I could break the contract, but if I do I would owe them a ton of money for the cost of all living expenses for the time remaining in the contract, and the cost to hire and train another worker.
I honestly had no problem cleaning and I also have no other options or plans for the next two years. So I assured the man I had no problems and he seemed quite surprised. He told me if that was the case I could sign it right now.
I was confused and asked about the other interviewees, and he said none of them wanted to commit to this contract. He said if I wanted it the job was mine and I could move in right away. I grabbed the contract and signed it right away.
I was led to the maid's quarters and given my own room, it was small but with a bed, it was more than I had yesterday. A few days go by, and the head maid teaches me how to go about my work. I catch on pretty quickly and by the end of the week, I’m left by myself to get my work done.
At the end of the first week the man, or I guess master of the house approached me with my new uniform. He eagerly handed it to me and told me from now on I’d be wearing it. I unfolded it and looked at him confused.
He handed me a female uniform, a female maid's uniform, and I asked him if this was some sort of mistake. He told me no, all the maids were in the same uniform, and I was expected to do so as well. Then he instead I put it on right away so he could see me in it, and then he followed me to my room where I hesitantly got dressed.
I left the room wearing it, and the master gave me a nod of approval. Then he ordered me to get back to work. Even though I was embarrassed I got back to work cleaning out the master's massive library.
As I was working the head maid approached me, she mostly wanted to see me in the uniform as well. Unlike the master she didn’t seem so happy to see me, she mentioned something was no good and grabbed my arm.
She led me to her room and sat me down on a chair. She removed my headdress and started messing around with my hair, I’ll admit it had gotten quite long and extremely messy. So it didn’t surprise me when she started cutting it and styling it.
She then made me close my eyes and she started putting stuff on my face. She mentioned that she’d be teaching me how to do all this in our free time, and she accepted me to be able to do it myself eventually.
I wasn’t sure what she was talking about until she had me open my eyes and handed me a hand mirror. Looking back at me was a very pretty girl wearing a cute maid's dress. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
She then shoved me out the door and told me to get back to work. I went back to the library and did just that. Of course now while cleaning I couldn’t help but think about how I was dressed and how I looked.
The strangest part was, I kinda liked it. I felt, well, pretty and more confident than ever, almost like I just somehow found where I was meant to be. A wide smile appears on my face as I happily begin skipping around as I clean.
One day after about a month of working there I ended one of my shifts and headed to my room to get changed. When I got there, there was a rather large package sitting on my bed with my name on it.
I open it up and find a ton of clothes inside, a ton of female clothes that is. Everything, from panties and bras, ankle socks to thigh highs, dresses, skirts and blouses. There were even a few sexy dresses and a ton of heels.
I wasn’t sure what it was about until I found a note. It was from the master, he told me he’s taken quite a liking to me over the past month, and he just loves how cute I look in my uniform, and thought I’d look cute wearing something else for a change.
I looked over the clothes, and they were all super cute and made out of amazing materials. It would be a shame not to accept them right? So I walked over to my dresser, which was filled with all my old clothes.
I pull out everything and replace them with my new wardrobe. I shove all the old clothes into a bag and pick out an outfit from among the new clothes. I end up putting on a tight short pink dress with matching heels.
I walk out of the room with the bag of old clothes in hand and walk it out to the trash outside. After I put it in I see the master pull out of the garage in his fancy car. He sees me and smiles when he sees me wearing the clothes he picked out.
He waved me over and I walked up to his car. He told me how good I looked in this outfit and said there would be more where that came from, and he looked forward to getting to see me in them, next time with a closer look.
I nodded saying that would be great, and then I thanked him for the clothes. After that, he sped off in his car. I walked over to mine and got in. I looked in my rearview mirror and smiled at myself. I’m glad I took this job, I really feel like I was made for it.

Yeah, some of the stories are updated. I wrote them back when I started, so I wanted to make better versions of them. So anything with the tag “updatedstories” is an old story remade.

Hmm, and again this feeling of deja vu, as if I had already read it ... And about the work ... Not bad, but alas, not mine ... If he didn’t just change clothes, but also changed the floor, it would be nice and so. .. Not mine...
