Independence Day
🕑 Added 2023-06-23 21:02:12 +0000 UTCJuly fourth, the day the United States celebrates its independence. Now most people here don’t even know what the holiday is about, but what they do know, it’s normally a day off to play with fireworks and drink the night away.
I had wanted to take advantage of the day to do exactly that. My friend group and I had been planning to take a trip to a beach resort. The resort was hosting a special event to celebrate the holiday.
Of course being a week away from turning eighteen means I still have to ask my parents for permission to go. I asked and of course they told me no, I begged and pleaded but they stood firm in their decision.
They told me I was needed for their cookout, as some of their friends and family have small children and I would be responsible for watching them while the adults got drunk and hung out together.
I told them there was no way I was spending another holiday babysitting for them, and well we got into a massive screaming argument. It ended with my dad saying it’s his house and I have to do what they say while I live here.
I flipped him off and ran up to my room, I slammed the door and jumped on to my bed. I looked up at the ceiling just wishing that my birthday would come sooner, and that I could leave her and get my independence from this shitty place.
I’d give anything for it at this point, but alas such things don’t happen do they. I sigh and cover myself with my blanket. I might as well get some extra sleep, so that I can handle a classroom's worth of kids.
I wake up the next morning to the sounds of fireworks. I guess some people can’t wait and need to set some off first thing in the morning. I got up and stretched, and for some reason this morning I felt very weird.
I also wasn’t in my room anymore, in fact the room I’m in looks like the one from the resort my friends were heading to for the holiday. How on earth did I get here? Did someone bring me here while I was asleep?
I get the sudden urge to need to use the bathroom, so I head off to it. The bathroom was quite small, with a small toilet and sink. I guess that makes sense, this place probably has public showers.
The toilet had some clothes on it, since I had to pick them up to move them, I went ahead and took a look at them. It wasn’t a whole lot, but it was a pair of very low cut shorts and a red white and blue bikini set.
I was confused and starting to feel anxious, I was clearly somewhere I wasn’t supposed to be. What if the girl whose room this was comes back and sees me holding her clothes and freaks out.
I put the clothes on the sink and lift the toilet seat up so I can piss and get the hell out of here. I reached down to grab my dick to aim into the toilet, and to my surprise it wasn’t there. Instead my crotch was flat and hairless now.
It was almost like magic, but after figuring out my dick was gone, I was finally able to notice all the things different about my body. The biggest thing was how I couldn’t see my feet anymore due to massive boobs sitting on my chest.
I began to freak out. What happened to me while I was asleep? Why was I a busty woman all of a sudden? I was also completely naked, which I guess means those clothes I was holding were meant to go on my body.
I was frozen in place, what was I supposed to do? I don’t even know how this happened. As I stood there, someone started knocking on the door of the main room. Clearly someone was expecting this girl, and If I don’t answer the door they’ll suspect something bad.
So I yell out saying I’ll be there in a minute, I go back to the main room and look for any normal clothes I could put on, but there was nothing. I obviously can’t answer the door naked, so my choices are a blanket, or….
I go back to the bathroom and pick up the clothes. I suppose they’re better than nothing, but the thought of being seen in something so revealing is so embarrassing. I slip the bikini bottom on first followed by the low cut shorts.
I’ll admit they look cute on my hips. FInally I wrap the bikini top around my chest and tie it around my neck. I was a little worried about it falling off and I think I tied it too tightly, as they’re squeezing my breasts quite firmly.
I wash my face with some water, and prepare myself mentally for the coming interaction. All I have to do is get through it, then I can figure out how I got into this body and then find a way back to mine.
When I opened the door, I wasn’t expecting a group of people to be waiting outside of it. They all started singing happy birthday to me as I awkwardly sat there trying not to be rude. As they sang I noticed a few familiar faces.
Half of the group was my friends, the ones I had planned to come here with. The other half was people I had never met before. There was an older woman, with long blonde hair, and bright blue eyes.
Next to her was a young boy, probably younger than the body I was in, and he looked just like the woman. The final person was a woman who looked about the same age as me, but she had short blue hair and green eyes.
Once they finished singing happy birthday, the group I didn’t know insisted I join them for breakfast, so they grabbed my arms and started dragging me along. The friends that I actually know said they’d see me at the beach later.
So off we went to the resort's dining area. We spoke to a waiter and we sat at a small booth. The older blonde woman and the young boy sat on one side, which left me sitting on the other side with the blue haired girl.
I sat awkwardly in silence, staring at the menu. I don’t really say anything, which I guess they noticed. They started asking me if I was okay, which I had to lie and act like everything was okay.
The waiter comes back and we order breakfast. I order something basic and small. After that the group just makes small talk, which actually helped me figure out who they were a bit. The older woman was this body's mother, and the boy was her brother.
I wasn’t entirely sure who the other girl was, but guess by how close she’s sitting to me I think I can make a good guess. We continue talking until the food arrives and we begin to eat. Which was great.
I ended up getting the urge to go to the bathroom again, and I remembered that I never went earlier and needed to go badly. I finished my food quickly and ran off saying I'll be back. I made my way to the bathroom and locked the door.
There was no way to avoid it, so I turned around, slid my shorts and the bikini bottoms down to my legs and sat on the toilet. It took me a few minutes to relax enough to actually let it out, but in the end I managed to get it out.
I wipe up, flush, wash my hands and leave the bathroom. Right outside the door was the blue haired girl. She looked at me for a second before coming up and hugging me. She told me she didn’t know what was bothering me, but she was here if I needed her.
It was weird, I’ve never had anyone care for me the way she did. It made me feel good, so I smiled at her and thanked her, without really meaning to. She grabbed my hand and we went back to the others.
We talked as everyone else finished breakfast, the older woman went off to pay for the meal and the rest of us headed outside. After that we all headed to the beach where my friends were all hanging out.
They had a nice little camp set up. They had a few tents and coolers, they had tons of food and drinks, even music and party favors. Everything needed for a party, and that’s exactly what happened.
Everyone hung out and had fun. I slowly made my way around to my friends to question them a bit about who I was now and how they knew me. I even tried mentioning my old name to see what they’d say.
What I found out is, they met this girl, the exact same as I met them as my old self. They also have no idea who my old self is. It also seems that we're all older than we were when I was a boy, with today being this body's twenty-first birthday.
I asked a few of them how I got here, making sure not to be suspicious about it. They were confused but said we all drove up yesterday. With that, that was all I was able to figure out from them.
While everyone was distracted, I tried to figure out what happened to my old body, so I pulled up the social media I used to use and searched for my accounts. I found nothing about me, but my old parents were still there.
I looked through their pages and found no mention of myself, or any other kids. I’m not sure what happened to me, but whatever it did, my old self is no longer around for me to switch back into.
As I sat there looking at my old parents, I thought to myself why I even wanted to go back to my old self. My parents were horrible to me, and never would have thrown me a party like this. Perhaps this is some sort of blessing in disguise.
I mean I do have to get used to being a girl, but maybe I want a life like this. I get to keep my friends and I have a better family, plus I’m now twenty one and have all the freedom I could dream of.
Well, it’s not like I have a choice now, so I might as well enjoy it. I got up, and took off the shorts I was wearing. I run over to my girlfriend and grab her arm. I ask her to come swimming with me and she smiles and agrees.
We spend the next few hours, switching from swimming to partying with everyone. Eventually it gets really dark out and my friends all settle down in their camp and begin drinking. My mother and brother head off to their rooms to watch the resort's fireworks.
My girlfriend and I also sneak away from the group. We end up outside my room and stare at the fireworks together. As they start going off, she turns over and kisses me on the lips. All I could do was smile and turn red.
Then we went back to our room and well, the fireworks were not the only thing to make a bang that night. I’m not sure how exactly I got this new life, but I’ll always be thankful for how it set me free and gave me the independence I desired, along with many other things.

That’s good, because being in that situation isn’t something I’d every wish on someone.. Everyone deserves a loving caring family.

For some reason, I feel sorry for him ... In the sense of his past life ... I'm scared to imagine what the family should do to you so that you, without hesitation and without being upset, leave them forever at the first opportunity ... Fortunately, in my family everything is fine and I just can’t (although most likely I just don’t want to) imagine a family from which I want to leave
