I didn't know they had Chabad-Lubavitch in Minnesota, Colin Hanks' neighbors with the Mitzvah Tank parked out front. That's a messianic Hasidic sect mostly based in Brooklyn, you see those Mitzvah Tanks driving around here frequently.

Thank you! So, dropping a man into the ice assures that the bodies won't likely be found until well after the two killers are long gone. I looked it up after I read this, and Lake Bemidji (I don't think the lake shown is big enough to be it, so they are probably at a different local lake) is the first feeding point of the Mississippi River. Yay, learning things!

This show is fantastic! Absolutely agree, the character development here is excellent. And I love the multi-layered shots. They do it quite a bit — even in a simple scene like the TV dinners - there’s so much information presented. Some meaningful, some maybe not. It’s like the audience gets to play along in the mystery and I love it. In the office with Oliver Platt / Chekov’s pills - Yes, but also, the butcher shop through the window there is…a choice. And lastly, notes on Duluth: - Yep, it’s a small port city on lake Superior. - It’s located on that stretch of Minnesota between the lake and Canada, due north of Wisconsin. - “Could be months before it thaws out.” - Absolutely. That lake is frozen solid, so not Superior, something smaller. Anyway, winter lasts quite a long time. I’m near Madison (about a 6 hour drive south) and even here winter weather will start in a couple weeks and last until at least March, or as late as May. A body under that ice won’t be found for a long time… Unless ice fishers find him, but let’s not think about that.
