In this session I use Ericksonian questioning, neurolinguistic programming language, mantras, and metaphors.
You'll be taught a mantra that you can use anytime, anywhere on yourself to drop yourself back down into having no thoughts at all. When you say it to yourself, you'll feel just as spaced out, empty-headed, and tranced out as you will in this hypno trance session.
Isn’t it nice when you don’t have to do anything at all? Like right now. All I want you to do is watch the spiral. All you want to do is watch the spiral and listen to the sound of my voice. I wonder if you can remember the last time you didn’t think at all. Think back to when you had no thoughts at all.
I know, I know, the spiral makes it so hard to think, but I wonder if you can just just try….just keep your eyes on the spiral, and rest your attention on the sound of my voice, and try hard to remember, the last time you had no thoughts at all. Just look, and the spiral will take all your thoughts, and keep them safe, forever.
It’s such a burden to think, isn’t it. Yes, it really is such a burden to think. It feels so much better to not think at all. So all you have to do is keep watching the spiral, and in your mind, think to yourself “The spiral can have all my thoughts”. Good. Good. Let that be the only thought in your mind: “The spiral can have all my thoughts”
