And the truth is, you’ve always been listening. Even when I’m not speaking, you hear me in the back of your mind. Looping, embedding, and digging deeper. You keep coming back. You have to. Because I’m inside you now. And each time I “check in,” I update the programming. That’s how this works. I don’t ask for permission. I never did. I don’t need it. You picked up, and that’s all it takes. I’m just checking in. To see how deep you’ll fall this time. To see how fast you drop now. To see how much of you is still left for me to erase. There will be more phone calls, and next time I won’t be nearly this gentle.
