Los guerreros de Lacondria reciben el nombre de “Ethraides” en honor a Etherion, el dios de la guerra y la fuerza. Cada vez que muere la cosecha, cada vez que los depredadores se llevan a un hijo, cada vez que hay una incursión de extraños para saquear lo poco que hay, no son sino pruebas que el viejo Etherion impone a sus hijos para probar su talante, pues la vida es un regalo dado, y por mas dura que sea, debe ser vivida y nunca desdeñada.
La fuerza militar de Lacondria cuenta con la mejor infantería, lado a lado, los Ethraides conforman un muro impenetrable de lanzas y escudos que no cederán ante ninguna fuerza enemiga, maestros del combate, los Lacondrios poseen una maestría envidiable en el combate con la falacata, una terrible espada de filo curvado útil para cortar los miembros de los enemigos que osen enfrentarse con ellos, en el campo de batalla.
