Patreon Revamp (Switching to Monthly Model)

TLDR: We are switching to a per-month model, existing patrons will be automatically moved over to the same tier, no action is needed.
Invicta has grown exponentially over the last few years. With over a million subscribers on YouTube, we cannot thank you all enough for your support! It’s because of awesome patrons like you that we are able to continue producing engaging educational content that brings history to life. The Invicta YouTube channel has outgrown the Patreon, by a lot. Because we’ve been able to produce and publish more content per month, the donation per-video system is no longer a sustainable model. As a result, we’ll be transferring to a new monthly subscription tier.
Starting March 1st, all Patreon tiers and rewards will undergo major changes that greatly benefit you! Here’s the full breakdown:
Tier 1: $1 /month Tribune Patron
Multas gratias tibi ago! Your contribution earns you our gratitude and the satisfaction of creating and promoting educational content on YouTube. Fortuna smiles upon you.
Tier 2: $3 /month Quaestor Patron
As Quaestor, you’ll receive access to our updates and content exclusive to Patreon. This tier also allows you access onto our Discord server. Thanks to you, we can keep Invicta content free for everyone!

Tier 3: $5 /month Aedile Patron
As an Aedile, we recognize your commitment to public service and the promotion of engaging educational content on YouTube. Not only will you enjoy the benefits of the previous tier, but you’ll also receive exclusive art produced for each documentary and the ability to participate in polls that influence content.

Tier 4: $10 /month Praetor Patron
At this level, you will receive benefits worthy of a Praetor! Your name will appear in the credits at the end of each documentary. As a Praetor, you’ll also be able to participate in our “What If” series, where we imagine what might have happened had certain events and figures played out differently in history. All previous tiers become available to you.

Tier 5: $25 /month Consul Patron
The higher you ascend the cursus honorum, you join the core group that helps keep this channel running in addition to receiving new perks. As an esteemed Consul, you’ll receive a discounted magazine subscription from Karwansaray Publishers and a 20% discount code for our merch store!

Tier 6: $50 /month Princeps Patron
As the first amongst equals, we appreciate your generosity and recognize your commitment for the greater good. In this tier, you get to enjoy all the benefits of the previous tiers and then some! In the Princeps tier, you can receive custom art and the opportunity to submit questions for our interviews with historians.

Thanks Kyle, just rolling out with the updates across Patreon and will be working on the announcement video here soon. Our community manager will be helping with fullfilment of the new tiers and help with any issues that may arise.

I appreciate the cost certainty this brings and will be upgrading my membership tier when I see the new tiers in the "my membership" tab
