So, I was listening in my car. (This isn't recommended AT ALL, but since I listen to every phrase on repeat at least ten times, I'm not likely to be distracted. I am not a role model!)
I thought to myself - "this is good and all, but it doesn't slap. On headphones, maybe, but this would just stop a party. The EDM sections aren't loud enough; tons of effects are getting lost in the mix. I can do better."
I went through and fixed all the levels, added new stuff, and made sure no voice work got lost in the mix. You can try both. I think this one is actually better. The contrast between the "overload" and the "calm" sections really emerges better this way imo.

That makes sense. I really like the trance section - but there’s obviously what the film people call “suture” there. I’ll click some buttons and make a “pure energy” mix - it should be easy

I really love this and the original. Is there any chance we can get just the EDM sections? I agree that the effects are stronger here (I start with the face and effects almost immediately), but, having listened several times now, the difference between the EDM and calm sections makes the calm sections almost too long. I have a pretty active mind and struggle to keep stray thoughts from interrupting my trance (getting better since I started listening to your files). After the high of the EDM sections, the calm sections almost push me out of trance now.
