Technically he does this whole story is tusk retelling these events to his Birdy boyfriend . I was following this story back when bleats first started it and in one post we a showed tusk is laying in bed half naked with a bird . Who is concerned about why tusk is cutting himself again , why his eyes are glowing and etcetera . Tusk responds with "it's a long story" and the bird says he has time and we pick up in the story we are seeing now . So does things get better for our lil water deer yes it would seem so. At least better then where he was . And we are all just seeing the journey playing out . It is why I do get invested and I feel for tusk I always hang on to the fact that hey he makes it out of this shit at some point .
