Weekly dev blog: Job (Almost) Done
🕑 Added 2025-08-11 17:49:09 +0000 UTCThe secret area is complete (minus a scene and the final writing) and the entire chain is now accessible. There are a handful of things missing (some sexy teasing in a related area, some writing, and other small stuff), but I should be able to send this version to testers tomorrow (or later tonight, if I find the time), and then I'll focus on scenes, polish and bugfixing until release day at the end of the week.
Once I finish the content with Dani, the masseuse and snake lady (which are all fairly far along), the game will just miss 2-3 short quests. I'll still write scenes every month, but it will only be scenes for existing characters, or for super generic, faceless people in one-shot events.
I'll start planning stuff out for these quests in more detail after this update, but I think the game might be finally completed in november or december (honestly, I'll probably just cut things out of my plans, if this release window is ever in doubt).
This will likely change the nature of polls for the remaining months (I'll try to keep things very simple, to avoid any unexpected extra work), and this will also be the last chance for quality of life changes to be proposed, most likely (unless there is something really easy to implement while also providing a big impact).
I really need to start working more on TOTDC 2 as well. At the very least, I should resume posting artwork previews and similar stuff: I have been meaning to for quite a while, but I have been having a hard time giving up my free time for this sort of stuff, lately. I wish someone could borrow me some of their youth. XD

I mean, at this point I am left with small stuff to tackle. While I'd be happy to get everything done, I don't think it would significantly move the needle as far as my opinion of the game goes. Things like checking a few scenes to make sure their repeatable version makes sense, or adding another tier to the rewards you can get from the royal wizard are all things I want to do (and I should be able to) but they shouldn't hold back the final release either, I think.
