Weekly dev blog: A Glimpse Into The Future
🕑 Added 2025-08-04 17:44:55 +0000 UTCAnother monday, another recap! This time, I figured I'd show you guys one of the maps I have been working on. This is going to be a secret area, which was voted a while ago in the monthly polls (a temple in the mountains).
Note that some of the details are missing, because I am hiding all events. This won't be a Shapeshifter temple, but the experience will be similar in many ways. XD
I have most of the puzzles finished already, and although the location is still a work in progress, I think it shouldn't need much more in terms of decorations to call it complete on that front. There is still a lot of writing required, though, as well as work to integrate it in the game properly. Hopefully I can get everything done this week, at least for the basics, as that would allow me to send the game to the testers on schedule (I might have to revisit this or other areas after the first release, to add more content).
No new scenes, as working on the map took over my time and I was feeling inspired to work on gameplay content. For the release, however, the idea is still to work on new scenes plus some miscellaneous stuff, beyond finishing this place.
That's all for today, until next week! ^_^
