Weekly dev blog: Stubbing My Toe Everywhere
🕑 Added 2025-05-05 16:42:39 +0000 UTCThis week really felt like I couldn't take 5 steps without finding a new problem, as you might have noticed thanks to the two hotfixes. In fact, one of my testers found a new bug with the schedule and starting chapter 3 (no more hotfixes, since this one should have a workaround, at least) and I also fixed typos and other similar issues here and there.
As a result, I slowed down a little, but I finished the intro for Dani to become a vice-captain, and I also finished writing all reactions to the pirate attack around Golden Leaf. If someone important is missing, let me know, but I think overall we get a nice variety of responses now, and it should feel nice as a little "treat" after repelling the pirates.
I do have a scene in the works (the first one involving Dani at her new role), but it's very early stages at this point.
That's about it for this week. I figure I'll focus on new scenes first (including the one mentioned above) and then I'll try to see how much time I have left and what I can do prior to the release (which I imagine will be sometime near the end of next week).
Stay tuned for more news! ^_^
