Weekly dev blog: Who Are You Calling Short!?
🕑 Added 2025-03-17 19:12:24 +0000 UTCThis recap, obviously! The new quest I mentioned is finished and its scene is complete. It took me a bit longer than I wanted to, because I flip-flopped on some lore bits and on the general tone. I kind of wanted the lady in the quest to be "meaner" but it didn't feel good given that it's a "one shot". The quest features mind control, so that's already plenty to keep things interesting.
I added a few details to the new pregnant scene, I added a few decorations to the hospital map (it felt a bit barren) and I started working on one more scene for the vampire doctor. This is probably(?) going to be the last one for her, 4 scenes should be enough, after all, but it's true that 3 is too little, as it was pointed out to me.
For the rest of the week, it's probably going to be testing, perhaps some new scenes, and work on the walkthrough/h-scenes list. If I focus more on the documentation, I might have to still plan some scenes anyway, so that I can commission art this month and make the best use of the art budget.
That's about it for the short term! Expect a release during the weekend! ^_^
