PSA: Slight Delay
🕑 Added 2024-12-23 11:07:19 +0000 UTCIf everything went as planned, the game would have been updated already, but I got sick and didn't get to do much for several days. The new plan is to push as much as I can (which isn't much, admittedly, since I am still a bit queasy) so I can finish the mini-quest and a new scene with Gabriel and then release what I have. I'll probably forego closed testing this time around, test a bit more on my own and leave my break open to bug reports/fixing for the first few days to compensate.
I really need my days off this month, so I might delay the short story update for a few days compared to the game release (I had lots of "free time" thanks to being sick, but it wasn't time I would spend writing, obviously). Sorry for all the problems, and Merry Christmas in case the update doesn't arrive before the 25th.

Thanks. I am definitely drinking a lot of water! I know people won't drop the project over night, but delays gnaw at me, especially since I was planning to take a break after the release. Maybe I should reconsider my schedule to include some sick days in the future, just in case.

Don't worry about it, you're health comes first, so rest and get well we don't mind waiting and we won't abandon ship because you get sick. Eat some chicken soup and drink plenty of water, medicals order ☺️

While I don't disagree, I ultimately rely on people's goodwill, it just doesn't feel right to wait until I am back to 100%. Maybe it's also the fact that it's been a bad couple of years on the health front, and now I don't want to give up since things were getting better and I had everything planned out to take my break after a nice update. XD

No. If you are sick, you rest until you have fully recovered. THEN it's back to business as usual. No stressing and making things worse by a premature return to work.
