Weekly dev blog: Erica Helping Hand
🕑 Added 2024-11-11 18:13:23 +0000 UTCThis week I added a new mini-quest/activity. To access it, you have to use the board in the commercial district listing the help requests, and you'll get directions on how to progress from there. I think the board has been there since the first release, or one of the very early ones, but the poor thing never got any content up until now. The gameplay is simple, although I enjoyed programming the little puzzle attached to the quest.
I plan to use the announcement board for more events, odd jobs and short quests, while I am at it. Specifically, I already started working on 2 such things: one of the events is how you'll reach the new scene I talked about last week, and the other will be a short quest which will see our protagonist transform into a bimbo to infiltrate an exclusive hunting lodge as a maid (hilarity ensues, and hopefully sexiness does the same). Hopefully, I can wrap things up for this by the weekend, send it to the testers, and then release the update some time next week.
A small thing I added is the option to see how many days till the next full moon in one of the debug tools, and I wonder if should make that part of the main UI as well.
Other than that, I don't think I did anything else worth mentioning. The poll and art preview should arrive soon, so make sure to stick around this week if you are interested in them. See you guys next week! ^_^
