BHSAF 185 School trip 13
🕑 Added 2025-09-22 02:59:43 +0000 UTC After leaving the hotel, Yu and Yui board a bus to head to their sightseeing spot.
The train wasn't exactly full, but about half the seats were taken. Yui was wearing a deep-brimmed hat and a mask, so her face was barely visible, and no one seemed to notice her true identity, as no one would expect Shimotsuki Yui to be in a place like this.
To begin with, the majority of bus passengers are students and working adults who live in the local area, and for them, this is just their everyday life. There is no way they would look around to enjoy the scenery, and almost everyone is killing time by using their smartphones.
Since Yu is sitting next to her on the aisle seat and Yui is sitting next to her on the window seat, it may be difficult for other seats to see Yui.
After a long time, they arrived at the bus stop near their destination, the shrine, and although they almost got off at the wrong place, they managed to get off safely.
"Hehehe, it was so cute how Yuu-kun panicked when he almost got off at the wrong stop."
"A lot of the bus stops around here are named in front of XX, and the XXs all look similar so it's hard to tell them apart."
If it had been just Yu, he probably would have gotten off at the wrong place. He probably wouldn't have noticed if Yui hadn't said, "Hey, isn't this the right place?"
"...I wish Takuya was here too."
It seems that the more fun Yui has, the more lonely she feels without Takuya. Before Takuya and Yui started dating, the three of them were often together and often messed around. When you think about that, it's not hard to understand why she feels lonely.
If Takuya were here right now, it would undoubtedly have created an awkward atmosphere. This situation certainly has many benefits for Yu, but that doesn't mean that Takuya is at a disadvantage. In fact, it's a win-win situation for both of them, as Takuya no longer has to worry about Yui and he no longer has to see Yui flirting with her.
"I agree"
Saying things you don't mean.
"I wonder where Takuya is right now."
Takuya also knows where she'll be going during her free time, so it's unlikely that they'll run into each other during their free time.
"Unlike me, he has a lot of friends and is doing well."
"...I hope so."
Yui smiles somewhat sadly.
"Hey, Yui-chan. Want to hold hands?"
"Eh...?"
He is surprised when Yuu reaches out his hand and makes a suggestion without any preamble.
"Well, it's a school trip and there are only two of us, so I thought why not go anyway. If I hide my face that much, no one will notice it's Yui-chan."
"That's right... Um, let's connect."
Even though her face was hidden by a mask, Yu could somehow tell that her cheeks were blushing with embarrassment.
Yu wrapped his arms around Yui's soft hand and held it tightly.
"I'm starting to feel like I'm doing something naughty. It's a school trip, but this feels like a date..."
"I used the hotel where my classmates were staying during our school trip as a love hotel, so it's too late now."
"Yu, Yu-kun!"
She shyly raised her voice. Yu couldn't help but tease her because of her cute reaction.
"Would you like to try a real love hotel later?"
"Seriously, naughty."
Although she seemed embarrassed, her voice didn't sound entirely opposed.
"I can't do that because I'm in my uniform right now."
"I think they might understand if I said it was just a game."
"? What do you mean, Yu-kun?"
"Well, it's fine if you don't understand..."
Yui's proportions are so different from those of a high school student that it would be easy to mistake her for a female university student wearing a uniform for this kind of play. The fact that this is not a local place also makes it more likely that the staff at the love hotel will not be familiar with this uniform.
"...If, if only? If I had the time... but, um, I thought it might be okay."
"How naughty even though we're on a school trip."
As students, Yuu and his friends rarely come to Kyoto, so they were curious to know if Kyoto's love hotels might have a unique atmosphere like this streetscape.
"Yu, Yu-kun invited me..."
"That's true, but you seemed worried about Takuya just now."
"I'm still worried, but it looks like we won't be able to meet up, and Yu-kun encouraged me. I feel bad for Yu-kun if I keep worrying about it forever."
"thank you"
"?"
He didn't seem to understand why he was being thanked, but Yu had no intention of explaining.
"Well, let's go see the sights as planned, and if we have time left, let's go."
Since the students were touring unfamiliar areas by themselves, the schedule was set up with some leeway. However, it was unclear whether there would be enough time left for the first round.
"Yeah. For now, let's just enjoy looking around."
Even for an average student, it's fun to be able to freely explore the area with friends on a school trip.
Furthermore, there was a chance that Yui wouldn't be able to participate in the school trip in the first place. However, she still managed to participate, so there was no way she wouldn't have fun, and it would be a waste if she didn't enjoy it thoroughly.
Yui takes Yu's hand and they head towards the shrine they are heading for.
