Chapter 105: Going to Nalan Xi's House
🕑 Added 2025-09-22 02:52:52 +0000 UTC I drove to the luxurious residential complex where Nalan Xi lived, took the elevator to her floor, rang the doorbell three times, and a few seconds later, when the door opened, I saw Chen Siting's innocent and pretty face.
Chen Siting was standing in front of the door, holding a white, fluffy puppy. She was wearing a slim white dress, white socks on her feet, and slippers. Her innocent face was stunned for a moment, and she didn't let me in. Her pretty face immediately turned cold: "What are you doing here?"
I noticed the Chihuahua puppy in Chen Siting's arms, sticking out its tongue and looking at me curiously with its little eyes. This was the stray dog that Nalan Xi told me he had picked up last time.
Chen Siting held the puppy in her arms and stretched out a slender hand to close the door. I hurriedly pushed the door leg with my foot, a little dissatisfied, "Sister, you can come to Sister Xi's house, but I can't?"
I saw Chen Siting gritting her teeth, her long hair scattered on her shoulders, staring at me expressionlessly, and pushing the door hard with her soft hands, not wanting me to come in.
But Chen Siting is a girl after all, and not as strong as me. She used her body to push the door, her pretty face flushed red, but I still pushed it open.
The Korean beauty girl watched me enter Nalan Xi's house with an angry look on her face.
After I entered the room, I didn't see Nalan Xi, but I heard the crisp sound of the chopping board coming from the kitchen. I was a little confused. Was Nalan Xi cooking?
Chen Siting held the puppy and seemed to have endured it for a long time. She kicked my calf with her jade foot and snorted, "Go back. Sister Xi and I haven't prepared dinner for you."
As Chen Siting said this, she walked towards the sofa with the puppy, and glanced at me out of the corner of her eye, as if I was redundant here.
I felt a pain in my leg and glared at Chen Siting. Thinking about how I had been humble all day and had even been slapped, I walked up angrily and slapped Chen Siting's well-developed buttocks with my big hand.
There was a crisp sound of "Snap!"
"Ouch." Chen Siting suddenly jumped up, one hand touching her small buttocks, turned back and glared at me, her eyes a little aggrieved, her pretty face angry, her whole body was like a raging hair: "How dare you spank me?"
"Chen Qing, why are you here?"
Nalan Xi was standing at the kitchen door, wearing a loose gray-green short dress and a brand new green apron, revealing her fair and tender calves. Her two jade feet were wearing three-centimeter sandals, and she looked at me in surprise.
"Sister Xi, I'm here to eat." I thought about it and decided not to tell her I was here to pick up Chen Siting. I changed my mind and asked curiously, "Sister Xi, can you cook?"
Nalan Xi rolled her eyes at me, her gaze passed over Chen Siting, and when she saw the Korean beauty standing next to her, she quickly put on a smile. Without thinking too much, she asked, "Chen Qing, at this hour, why don't you eat at your house and come to my place for a free meal? What are you thinking?"
As soon as she said this, Nalan Xi seemed to think of something, her charming face flushed with embarrassment, and she turned back to the kitchen. Chen Siting walked over to the gray sofa next to her and sat down, crossing her long, slender white legs. She held the puppy in her arms, gently stroking its head with her delicate hand. Without even looking at me, she said in a teasing tone, "Sister Xi is right. I'm just a mean person, running into other people's homes to beg for food."
I ignored Chen Siting's taunts, knowing she was still fuming and didn't seem to want to reconcile with me. I figured I'd wait until she'd calmed down before discussing it. I simply headed into the kitchen to see what Nalan Xi was cooking. Nalan Xi stood at the counter, stuffing a piece of bitter melon with minced meat. On the counter were three plates and two baskets filled with a lot of chopped ingredients.
I stood beside Nalan Xi and saw that she was very unfamiliar with stuffing the minced meat. It was obvious that she was new to cooking. I blinked and asked, "Sister Xi, bitter melon steamed meat?"
"Don't ask so many questions. If you want to eat, just help." Nalan Xi glanced at me, stuffed a bitter melon with minced meat, and carefully placed it in the bowl. Her charming face showed no trace of concealment as she said, "This is my first time cooking too. Siting steamed the rice."
I glanced at the other side of the counter, where a medium-sized rice cooker was bubbling with steam. I remembered that Chen Siting rarely did any kitchen work at home, but I remembered that she had steamed rice last time, and she was quite good at it. But then I remembered that Chen Siting ignored me today, and I felt angry. I curled my lips and said teasingly, "Sister, you know how to steam rice? I guess you're not very good at it."
As I was talking, I picked up the bitter melon and was about to stuff it with minced meat, but Nalan Xi patted the back of her hand. I looked at her with some confusion. Didn’t she want my help?
Nalan Xi raised her eyebrows and reminded: "Can you wash your hands before touching food?"
"Sister Xi, you are really as nagging as my mother." I smiled. Nalan Xi's temperament is indeed very similar to Qin Xinmei's. Both of them have a cold image.
However, in terms of fierce temperament, Qin Xinmei is undoubtedly scary. She has a cold face, which makes people dare not approach her without anger. On the other hand, Nalan Xi is charming, cold and beautiful, which makes people want to get close to her and try to understand her heart.
I turned around and washed my hands in the sink, then stood beside Nalan Xi, almost touching her delicate body. I picked up the bitter melon with one hand and grabbed a handful of minced meat and stuffed it into the hollowed-out bitter melon.
"Believe it or not, I'll call Sister Xinmei and tell her you were gossiping about her behind her back." Nalan Xi paused with her hand stuffed with minced meat, and asked in confusion, "The kitchen is so big, don't you have anywhere to stand? Don't get so close to me."
"You're using my mother to scare me again, but unfortunately, I don't fall for it." I leaned against Nalan Xi's body, ignoring what she said next.
Smelling the faint fragrance on her body, I was a little dazed. I glanced at the two seductive and upright breasts under her apron from the corner of my eye and couldn't help swallowing.
Nalan Xi glanced at me and wanted to stop talking, but when she saw me staring at her chest, a feeling of shame filled her whole body. But when she thought of all my previous rogue behaviors, she had to pretend I didn't exist and concentrate on stuffing her bitter melon meat.
"Sister Xi, I'll come and help too." Chen Siting suddenly walked into the kitchen. Seeing me leaning against Nalan Xi, she was stunned for a moment, and a hint of anger flashed in her big eyes.
Chen Siting ran to the wash basin in two steps to wash her hands, pushing me and Nalan Xi away, then stood in the middle as if nothing had happened, picked up the bitter melon, grabbed a handful of minced meat, and stuffed it in the mouth in a proper manner.
I had just stuffed a bitter melon with minced meat and said with some dissatisfaction: "Sister, there is room to stand over there, why are you squeezing me?"
Chen Siting puffed her cheeks slightly, staring at the bitter melon with minced meat in my hand, with a somewhat aggressive tone, and snorted coldly: "What is stuffed with it? It's as ugly as a pig. Just stand aside and watch. Stop working and watch what Sister Xi and I do." As she said that, Chen Siting took the bitter melon with minced meat from my hand and casually put it in the basin. I took a closer look and found that the edges of the bitter melon with minced meat were very smooth. The Korean beauty was obviously picking on me.
"What do you care about me?" I couldn't help but feel angry, so I picked up another piece of bitter melon and minced meat and continued to work.
Nalan Xi glanced at Chen Siting and me, a strange look on her charming face. The corners of her mouth twitched, but she seemed to want to say something but stopped herself, then she quickened the work in her hands.
It was obvious that Nalan Xi knew that there was a conflict between Chen Siting and me, but it was normal for brothers and sisters to have frictions from time to time, and they would usually make up the next day, so he didn't ask about it.
With one more person helping in the kitchen, the work went faster. When I finished stuffing the last bitter melon with minced meat, I saw that Nalan Xi looked a little depressed, and then she hurried out of the kitchen.
I just washed my hands and called out in confusion, "Sister Xi, where are you going?"
Nalan Xi said without turning her head, "I forgot to buy soy sauce. I'll go downstairs and buy some at the supermarket."
I hurriedly said, "Sister Xi, wait a minute, I'll go buy it."
"No need, there's pig's trotters stewed in the pressure cooker. Turn it off in ten minutes. I'll be back after I finish shopping." Nalan Xi walked to the hall and opened the door, only to hear the sound of the door closing with a "bang".
