Chapter 027 Water Lotus Blooming in the Sun
🕑 Added 2025-09-20 05:30:05 +0000 UTCLin Junyi made up his mind and immediately began to put it into action. He first silently recalled the contents of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the first book in the series. With his current memory, everything came to mind easily. Lin Junyi suppressed his excitement and wrote furiously. At this moment, his eyes were only focused on the novel on the table, and he was completely oblivious to everything around him.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Chapter 001: The Boy Who Lived
The Dursleys, who lived at number four, Privet Drive, were always proud to say they were a very proper family. Please, please. They had nothing to do with the occult, because they didn't believe in anything monstrous..."
“Ding-ling-ling——”
When the school bell rang, the classroom suddenly became as lively as if a pot of boiling water had begun to boil.
"See you in the afternoon, deskmate!" Gu Qing put on his schoolbag, greeted him with a smile, and turned to leave.
"See you this afternoon!"
Lin Junyi responded with a smile and was about to put away the novel draft on the table when he suddenly heard someone calling his name at the classroom door. He quickly raised his head and looked over.
The person who came was my sister Lin Wanqing!
Today, Lin Wanqing wore a white dress with her hair tied into a simple long ponytail, giving her a pure and elegant look. Her long, fair legs were completely hidden beneath the white hem of her dress, and her feet were clad in a pair of washed-out, beige sneakers.
In the bright sunlight, she stood gracefully like a graceful water lily, gazing at Lin Junyi with gentle, tranquil eyes. Her delicate face, as beautiful as a flower, was now etched with fatigue, and beads of sweat the size of soybeans dripped down her cheeks like a curtain of rain. The bright sunlight illuminated the fine hair on her snow-white neck.
Lin Junyi looked at Lin Wanqing's tired face, and his heart suddenly ached. His nose felt sore, and tears couldn't help but burst out. But his voice seemed hoarse, and he opened his mouth without saying a word. Sadness, shame, pity, and emotion instantly surged into his heart! All these emotions accumulated in his chest and turned into a silent cry: "Sister!"
Seeing his sister so tired, Lin Junyi felt as if his heart had been ripped out and left to dry under the scorching sun! Lin Wanqing, such a perfect, fairy-like person, should have lived happily in a luxurious house, admired and worshipped by countless people. But for this so-called "brother", she had wronged herself so much, braving the nearly 40-degree heat to bring him food. How could Lin Junyi not be heartbroken!
Lin Junyi couldn't bear to watch it any longer. He immediately stood up from his chair, walked quickly to Lin Wanqing, took the things in her hand, and said with a choked voice: "Sister, you suffered for me!"
"Silly boy, why are you so polite to your sister! You are my biological brother, and I should do anything for you!" Lin Wanqing casually wiped her face with a silk scarf, then gently patted Lin Junyi's head and said with a smile, her eyes full of tenderness.
Lin Junyi gazed at Lin Wanqing's jade-like face affectionately, shook his head, and felt a little uncomfortable. Every time his sister always answered like this, as if all the grievances she suffered for him were insignificant!
"How was your day at school today? I made your favorite braised pork trotters. You should eat more later." Lin Wanqing hugged Lin Junyi and returned to his desk. She took out the fragrant food from the thermos and put it on his desk, then sat down in Gu Qing's seat.
"Everything is fine here. Now I sit at the same table with the top student in our class. My academic performance will surely improve by leaps and bounds! Sister, don't worry! I'm starving. You came just in time. If you had come any later, I wouldn't have been able to bear it!" Lin Junyi suppressed the complicated emotions in his heart, looked at Lin Wanqing, and while speaking, he couldn't wait to pick up the bowl of rice and began to eat it voraciously.
"You little guy, you couldn't even eat half a bowl of rice in one meal before. Since you woke up last time, you still feel that two bowls of rice are not enough. I really don't know why your appetite suddenly becomes so good?" Lin Wanqing smiled sweetly, gently tucked some of the scattered black hair on her forehead behind her ears, narrowed her eyes slightly, looked at Lin Junyi dotingly and said.
"Sister, I'm growing up and will soon become a real man! Of course I have to eat more, otherwise how can I gain strength?" Lin Junyi really enjoyed the warm feeling when he was with Lin Wanqing. Looking at her, a deep sense of happiness would always well up in his heart.
"Okay, you're almost grown up! You're so childish! Eat slowly and don't choke. No one is going to snatch the food from you." Lin Wanqing looked at Lin Junyi, who was acting like a spoiled child, with some amusement and said in a soft voice.
"Hey, brother, what's written in this notebook of yours?" Lin Wanqing suddenly saw the novel that Lin Junyi had not put away yet. She picked it up and glanced at it casually. Seeing that it was all in English, she couldn't help but ask.
"That's a novel I wrote when I was bored. It's called "Harry Potter." Lin Junyi said incoherently while chewing food.
"Oh? Really? I never heard you could write novels before. Let me see how it goes."
Lin Wanqing's interest was immediately piqued. She sat up straight, gently turned to the first page of the notebook, and began to read it word by word. Her expression was calm and elegant. A breeze came in from the window, blowing her long black hair all over the place.
As she read, her eyes gradually became warmer from the initial indifference, then turned into shock, and in the end, she couldn't help but exclaim in admiration:
"Brother! The novel you wrote is so good! It's so imaginative! Even I couldn't help but be deeply attracted to it. I can't wait to read the rest of the novel!"
Of course! If it wasn't good, how could JK Rowling become famous? Lin Junyi thought to himself, but said, "Haha, I think so too. I plan to publish it after a while!"
"Well, this novel is really fascinating. You must persevere and finish it! Of course, don't let it delay your studies!"
"Okay, sister!"
Lin Junyi ate very quickly. In less than ten minutes, he had finished all the food in the thermos, and there was still a hint of unsatisfied look on his face.
After Lin Wanqing carefully cleared the dishes on the table, she gently patted Lin Junyi on the head and said, "Study hard!" Then, like a breeze, she gradually blended into the bright midday sunshine. . . . .
