Chapter 042 Cute Ye Youyou
🕑 Added 2025-09-23 12:32:44 +0000 UTCZhao Kaishun, the head teacher of Class 3 (6), came late today, almost at seven o'clock. He wore a sports suit and changed his usual glasses into large sunglasses. He looked more like a bodyguard of a gangster than a teacher.
As soon as the departure signal sounded, the students began to rush to get on the bus, fearing that they would be left behind and have no seats.
Lin Junyi's class's car also slowly drove over. Before the door opened, Zhao Kaishun's loud voice rang out: "Boys, can you please behave like gentlemen? Let the girls get on first. Ladies first!"
At his command, the girls immediately applauded and, in the stunned eyes of the boys, got on the bus first and grabbed a good seat.
Lin Junyi is no longer a child mentally, so of course he won’t compete with them for seats.
"Li Xiaoguang, what are you grabbing? Didn't the teacher tell you that ladies first?" Jiang Xiaoyu pulled Li Xiaoguang, who was squeezed in front, down and said sternly.
"You kid..." Li Xiaoguang glanced at Zhao Kaishun's stern look and immediately swallowed the unpleasant words that followed.
After the girls got in the car, it was the boys' turn. Jiang Xiaoyu took the lead, rushed forward and occupied two seats with a split of his thighs. The other one was naturally reserved for Lin Junyi.
Li Xiaoguang was unlucky. He had originally wanted to seize a good position, but Jiang Xiaoyu pulled him to the back. When he got on, there were no seats left. He could only stand frustratedly, secretly hating himself: "Why am I so unlucky lately?"
After Lin Junyi sat down, he glanced at Gu Qing and saw that she was sitting with her good friend Li Wenwen, talking and laughing, attracting the attention of many boys.
Li Wenwen was wearing a pure white sportswear and white sneakers today. She had a long figure, long legs and a big chest, which made the clothes look exquisite and prominent. She wore a gold belt inlaid with crystals around her waist, which outlined her slender waist and made her figure look even more plump.
Lin Junyi's eyes slid from her upright chest to her straight, slender, snow-white thighs. He recalled in his heart that he had little contact with Li Wenwen before, and it was still the same now. However, Li Wenwen and Gu Qing have always had a good relationship, so he might have more opportunities to deal with her in the future.
Li Wenwen's family background has always given people a sense of mystery. Although she is picked up and dropped off at school by a luxury car every day, she always keeps a low profile at school and is far less arrogant than those students who come from wealthy families. This is why Lin Junyi is very interested in her.
The bus drove smoothly out of the city, carrying the students singing and laughing all the way.
After arriving at the Dalongshan Scenic Area, the third-year junior high school students of Xie En Private Middle School rushed out of the car one after another like birds out of a cage.
It was free time, and each class was looking for favorable terrain to set up camp. The next activity was a water fight, a key part of the outing. Without good terrain, they would be at a disadvantage. The streams and ditches naturally became strategic locations for the fight for water.
Lin Junyi's class, Class 3 (6), had a small stream nearby. The water was crystal clear, and you could even see tadpoles playing in the water. They were so cute! It was a truly pristine and beautiful sight! No wonder Dalong Mountain has always been a popular destination for many students.
Lin Junyi looked around, seeing the green mountains, clear waters, and fresh air. He couldn't help but sigh inwardly, "This place has just been developed, and the scenery is really beautiful. If it goes on for a few more years, I'm afraid the ecology will be destroyed by human beings. You have to know the importance of environmental protection!"
He took out the simple folding tent he had just bought from the large travel bag he was carrying. It took up half of the space in the bag and could accommodate three or four people for a nap when opened.
Jiang Xiaoyu, who was standing beside him, was so surprised that he exclaimed, "Xiao Linzi, you're so thoughtful! You even brought a tent! Hehe, this is awesome!"
Lin Junyi smiled and set up the tent under a tree by the stream, attracting envious glances from many classmates.
Li Xiaoguang and a few close classmates were covering the ground with plastic sheeting. When he saw Lin Junyi actually setting up a tent, he curled his lips in disdain and muttered, "Damn, why are you so pretentious? It's just a broken tent, isn't it?"
From nine to ten in the morning, it is free time, which is limited to the base camp area. Private climbing is not allowed. The school organized this activity quite strictly and more cautiously than expected. I heard that the principal has issued an order that anyone who dares to act without authorization and violate discipline will be "expelled from the school and kept in school for observation." This is a very severe punishment.
Lin Junyi checked the time, made some hasty preparations, and ran to a remote stream with his backpack. He had made an appointment with Ye Youyou to go crabbing with her at 9:30 yesterday.
Ye Youyou stood on a mottled black rock by the stream. She looked petite and cute in a chiffon dress with pink, apricot and white stitching, like a little princess from a fairy tale. A pink cap with a bright red scarf around it added a doll-like cuteness to her. A lace flower was tied on her slender arm. Lin Junyi had never seen such a beautiful dress in school.
She was pouting, waiting for the late Lin Junyi with some dissatisfaction.
"How are you going to catch crabs in the water when you're dressed like this?" Lin Junyi ran over breathlessly. "But I like it very much."
"Who asked you to like it? You're late and you still dare to blame me!" Ye Youyou jumped down from the rock. "I looked for a long time, but I didn't see a single crab."
In the golden autumn, crabs are fat, the autumn water rises and falls, and river crabs are baring their teeth and claws in their holes. It is a good time to catch crabs.
Most of the crabs in the creek are large blue crabs. The female crabs have a lot of roe, while the male crabs have very large claws and a lot of tender white meat inside.
In his previous life, the largest blue crab Lin Junyi had ever seen in the Qingshui River in front of his house weighed more than half a pound and was very scary when waving its claws. During the late rice harvest season, after a day's harvest, there would always be people digging crabs out of the caves while taking a bath in the river. When there were a lot of them, they would carry them home in buckets. This thing was not valuable in the small town and no one wanted it. Usually, no one would catch it after eating it twice a year because it was fresh.
But no one expected that the blue crabs in Qingshui River would become extinct within a few years, and later artificially farmed blue crabs could be sold for 40 to 51 kilograms.
"Crabs don't bask in the sun. How could they crawl over to say hello to you when you're standing on such a big rock? It's no use sticking your head out to look. Crabs won't dive around for no reason." Lin Junyi took out a tool, a long stick with a rope tied to it, and a bit of meat tied to the end of the rope.
