February 2024 Update
🕑 Added 2024-02-29 20:55:07 +0000 UTCi finally redesigned my site. ive been meaning to for years, and went through several potential designs. heres some of them!
eventually i realized most people will probably be visiting the site on their phones, so i should design with that in mind, both in terms of readability and vertical orientation. and no frames. i also wanted it to show some of my art, which is how i arrived at the current version, with its 20 randomized images you get on each refresh (as well as one of 71 different oldweb banner ads)
speaking of those random images, heres one that isnt on the site, featuring fan faves varg and moya. i realized if i used this one, id have to do some for a bunch of my other characters, which would take more time than i had. i could still do that and add them in to the rotation eventually. but for now, enjoy it here:
note the little mascot character in those earlier site designs. at one point, i planned to have "website girl" on the front page, ready to unhelpfully guide you through the site.
clicking her offer to assist you on the front page would lead you to this comic, explaining nothing.
i like her but i realized she was pretty similar to 'recap girl' from the invader zim comics. and i didnt have anything else for her to do. she lives on in one of the randomized images on my front page. did you look at all of those yet? you should look at them. here ill make it easy and post all 20 right here full-sized for you patreon superfans
and heres an alternate unfinished version.. wasnt sure how to compete this one and ended up using it as part of another image.
ok hows that for a patreon update. next time, how about some angel chain development art from the latest chapter? go read that, also.
