Honestly I have a head canon that the leader and poster girl of the space cadets let's this stuff happen and in fact gets off to it. Who knows maybe a few girls join because they want to be eaten.

The poster is his ultimate trophy. He's staring at the picture remembering a distant memory yet he's still sucking the last bit of meat off of her thighbone. She was a thanksgiving dinner for a family of seven.
