Palavi's Peril 10
🕑 Added 2019-08-12 02:29:07 +0000 UTCBut it was momentarily halted by a familiar sound. Otho felt a twitch of fear enter back into his vines. He heard the voice of Pan, Palavi's father and King, cutting through the dark forrest. He was leading a search party for his daughter who had missed the curfew of the palace. This curfew has never been overlooked in the past by palace security and has always signaled a dire situation. So he had rushed to the last known area she said she was going to.
Otho shuttered at the thought of losing his prize catch. He realized he could simply swallow the young girl but he couldn't bring himself to end the evening sooner than he would have wanted. So he let her soak in his mouth like a gummy bear and climbed up high above the canopy of the trees. Remaining still, Otho couldn't be recognized as anything other than just another vine in the dense forest.
