I can understand it’s not your speed but I don’t think this show is that weird like space dandy and I’ll admit the first episode feels hit and miss, what I like about it is how it makes fun of the tropes you see in anime, so I think you should give it one or two more episodes and if your stance hasn’t changed then that’s fine, just glad you reacted to it.

I think KOL would really come to love Steven Universe. Even though it’s a kids show, its themes and characters 100% have something to offer for adults.

Great reaction KOL. It definitely starts out a little episodic but develops a solid story in the later episodes once all these characters you see in the opening are introduced. If i can, im gonna donate for you to watch the rest of Season 1 (13 episodes, so 11 episodes left) cuz im really enjoying this content. Related question: If i buy the upcoming movie-length reactions option twice, would that be enough for the rest of Season 1? Since every episode is about 20 minutes long and some people will ask you to watch like 120 minute movies.

Fun fact Kol with Tiger Mask W. Firstly Tiger Mask is based on a real pro wrestler in the early 1980s who was so famous he had animes, mangas you name it. Secondly is that one of the companies in the anime is New Japan Pro Wrestling a real life wrestling promotion and the biggest in japan where there are a whole bunch of real wrestlers that make appearances in the anime. Steven Universe got me through a tough spot after my big bro’s death so I fw it heavier than most people do, but even I’ll say the start really sucks. It’s the kinda show that takes a while to get the main plot going but in hindsight, the side characters make for good world building. Can see it being too kiddy for KoL but would be glad to see it picked up.
