Kaiji is so intense unlike any other psychological/gambling shows. The stakes, the risks and the getting fucked over is there, really There! Someone like Sahara -for example- could've been a very promising rival for Kaiji, to go just like that was unthinkable! Kaiji getting fucked on so many levels even after "winning" .. Very relatable to the average dude in the real world in front of the "Elites" whom represented as the "Riches" and specially "Hyoudo". The average dudes even with a little more brain can never take down "Kings". Of course, there's pure luck and exceptions that are very rare.
