I know that it is HIS reaction, ive been a watcher since 2020 and the pausing has always been there. Im not saying he should stop it, only that it has become more and more over time and in my experience a bit too much lately. Thats why I gave the comparison to his Oddtaxi reactions where it wasnt like this. Just let the episode flow a bit more thats all im saying. Just trying to give some contsructive criticism for something that IMO would better the experience. He could maybe even get to more episodes in a night with the time save. If he doesnt care + almost noone else feels this way i'll obviously have to deal with it.

While i don't mind pausing here and there, yeah there's definitely been some times where kol goes waaaayyyy overboard with it, especially if he's constantly rewinding certain parts over and over again, and it makes it much less fulfilling to watch the show alongside kol because he's destroying the flow and pacing and it just starts to get grating and annoying after a while.

that's only a problem if you're watching something with him for the first time. I never have this issue simply because I've already watched the content he is reacting to on my own. this is HIS reaction after all. so suggesting a change to how he enjoys the content because you don't like it, is a bit strange to me.

I agree, but this comes with the territory of being a reactor. The immersion can only be controlled by kol but his stance on pausing is steadfast. For me I skip through his little rants and just watch the episode normally.

Don't know how you guys feel, but recently I feel like the rewinding and pausing during the reactions is getting way out of hand (for some anime at least). The Tomo-Chan reaction took KOL 42 minutes ... 24 minutes of content and 18 of pausing. Takes me out of my immersion of the episode and, truthfully, since I watch multiple reactions of KOL, I simply don't have the time for the reactions taking so long. I know its his innate way of reacting, but it wasnt always this bad. I recently rewatched his Oddtaxi reaction and there was maybe 6-7 minutes of pausing per episode. Only after impactful scenes and/or moments that were discussion worthy and not every 20-30 seconds (often in the middle of a scene). Could be something to try to improve on at least a bit.
